Romania exhibits Iranian photographs

The event displays forty works by thirty Iranian photographers selected by Romanian photographer Mircea Albu for the exhibition, Mehr News Agency reported.

Organized by the Iranian Photographers Center (IPC), the exhibition is held at the Lucian Blaga Central University Library in an attempt to introduce Iranian culture and Persian civilization through the medium of photography.

Photos by Rasoul Olyazadeh, Alireza Attariani, Hamid Hashemi, Ali Seyyedi, Reza Raadpour and Mahmoud Bazdar are among the works selected for the exhibition, which will run until July 30.

The exhibit is also slated to travel to the Romanian capital of Bucharest in November and Mircea Albu hopes that he can one day get the chance to showcase works by photographers of his own country in Iran.
