“The Rover” star Guy Pearce has issued some extremely high praise for Robert Pattinson.
Pattinson fans will be happy to hear that the Golden Globe-nominated Pearce finds him to be much more than just a “beautiful face.”
“The best thing about Rob is that he is a really great actor,” Pearce said of the former “Twilight” star in an interview published today by Sydney’s The Telegraph. “Watching the rushes back, you go, ‘okay, he is just going to be fantastic.'”

Pearce and Pattinson recently completed filming the David Michod-led flick in Australia, and according to the former, the movie will offer up an all-new side to his co-star.
“He plays [character] slightly backward, emotionally useless and really vulnerable … He’s got this beautiful face so you are completely entranced by that face no matter how ugly he makes himself or how wounded he is, or how manky his haircut.” Indeed, his swoon factor was dialed down quite a bit, based on certain photos observed of the set, but as Pearce noted, he’s a handsome guy through it all (as proven by the first official glimpse at the pair in the film).
