PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gas prices in Rhode Island are holding steady this week.
AAA Southern New England said Monday that the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Ocean State is $3.62, the same as last week.
Prices at the pump in Rhode Island are 14 cents higher than the national average of $3.48.
Gas prices had been on a steady decline since mid-April before rising 15 cents earlier this month.
A year ago at this time, Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.85 per gallon.
