Bahraini activists say regime forces on Friday attacked demonstrators who were shouting slogans against the ruling Al Khalifah dynasty.
Regime forces fired tear gas directly at the protesters, the activists said.
In another incident, the demonstrators blocked roads across the tiny Persian Gulf country.
Protesters targeted main roads including the one that leads to the Bahrain International Airport.
Scores of people have been killed in the crackdown on anti-regime rallies that broke out last February, while thousands more have been arrested.
