According to IRNA, Ayatollah Rafsanjani added that Iran has only provided humanitarian assistance such as delivery of food and medicine to Yemenis, which originates from the kind nature of the religious emotions of Iranian people and Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
He added that unfortunately, terrorist groups and murder of Muslims in regional countries have caused difficult conditions for people. He deplored the ominous efforts of enemies of the sacred religion of Islam to somehow drive a wedge between Shiites and Sunnis, while hoping that such confrontations would end swiftly.
Elsewhere, the chairman of the Expediency Council referred to the recent talks of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team with 5+1 Group member states in Lausanne, Switzerland, adding that the members of Iran’s negotiating team are holding talks with Western parties while fully considering all of Iranian nation’s interests.
