Two people have been injured after a car collided with a marked police vehicle that was on its way to an emergency.
Police say the emergency lights and siren on the police vehicle were activated when it ran a red light at a Gold Coast intersection on Thursday morning.
Another car travelling through that intersection failed to give way and ran into the police car.
A third vehicle drove into the rear of that car at the intersection of Price and Ferry streets in Nerang.
Two people were taken to the Gold Coast Hospital with minor injuries.
