Qld man missing in bush for two days

A search is underway for a skilled bushman who has been missing for two days in rural southern Queensland.

The 40-year-old was travelling with a woman and two teens when their car became bogged in bushland near Warwick in the early hours of Sunday morning, police say.

The man left the car and was last seen at Cherry Gully, south of Warwick, by a local landowner at 11am (AEST) on the same day.

The woman and teens stayed with the car and were found by police on Sunday.

Police say the missing man is a skilled bushman but they are concerned for his welfare.

“He has limited supplies, hasn’t been in contact with family or friends, and it is possible that the man may be disorientated,” police said in a statement.

An air and land search of bushland near Warwick is underway.
