Public Health Department Posts American Academy of Pediatricians Recommendations to Reduce Cell Phone Exposure

American Academy of Pediatrics and other medical experts have warned for many years that children are more vulnerable to exposure to cell phone and other sources of wireless radiation. Research has determined that exposure to can
- increase cancer (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) and tumor risk
- cause hair loss
- cause rashes, other skin irritations, and premature skin aging
- cause and/or increase blood sugar fluctuations
- cause and/or increase cardiac health issues
- cause and/or increase insomnia
- compromise respiratory health
- disrupt the blood-brain barrier (see 1, 2, 3)
- increase risk for “Microwave Sickness,” Electromagnetic Sensitivity and Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity
- reduce immunity to viruses and other illnesses
- and MORE
Kudos to the North Carolina Public Health Department for posting American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations to reduce children’s exposure on their website.
