The blasphemous movie has sparked protests in the Muslim world, leadingd to mass demonstrations against Western powers.
Other nations with high Muslim populations like Tunisia and Indonesia also saw demonstrations outside the heavily guarded US missions.
Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood condemned the anti-Muslim film as “totally unacceptable” and called for a million-man march.
Recently, the British government has been making efforts to boost ties with Egypt, but the latest uprising over the sacrilegious film could complicate the North African country’s views on its relationship with Britain.
