A PREGNANT woman has died and a young boy is injured after a fatal crash in the state’s west.
About 12.30pm yesterday, a Holden Cruze and a prime mover truck collided at the intersection of Warroo Bridge Road and Henry Lawson Way, west of Forbes.
The 23-year-old female driver of the Holden, who was seven months pregnant, was taken to Forbes Hospital with extensive injuries where she later died.
A two-year-old boy also in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The male driver of the truck was not injured.
He was taken to Forbes Hospital for mandatory testing.
Forbes Police are investigating the incident and investigations into the full circumstances surrounding the crash are still being determined.
