Queensland’s roads remain fatality free over the Easter break but police are warning motorists not to become complacent.
They say 62 people have been injured in traffic accidents in Queensland over the holiday period.
Fines or notices to appear in court have been issued to 8043 speeding drivers, 238 drink drivers and six drivers under the influence of drugs.
Nationwide, the Easter road toll sits at four after two deaths each on Victorian and New South Wales roads.
