Police have used a stun gun on a 12-year-old boy who had armed himself with weapons, west of Brisbane.
The boy was armed with several “bladed weapons” and was behaving in a threatening manner when officers subdued him with a Taser gun, police said.
Given the age of the boy, the police ethical standards unit will review the incident which happened at Churchill, near Ipswich, on Sunday.
Police revealed the incident in a statement on Thursday.
The boy was not injured but was taken to hospital for assessment.
Investigations continue.
