Police seek man who approached girls

NSW police are looking for a man with a large stomach who allegedly offered teenage girls money to do lingerie modelling.

The man approached two girls – aged 13 and 14 – in Woy Woy on the central coast about midday (AEST) on Sunday and asked if they would like to do some modelling, police said.

They both said no and quickly walked away from him.

About 20 minutes later, he allegedly then went up to a 15-year-old girl and asked if she would be interesting in modelling.

When the girl’s mother asked for his business card he left.

The man then went up to three 14-year-old girls about 12.30pm and offered them $50 to do some underwear modelling before they walked away.

Finally, about 2pm he approached a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old and suggested they join him on Umina Beach for some photos, police said.

As they neared the beach, he asked one of the girls to enter some bushes with him, prompting both girls to run to a nearby surf club and call police.

Police are now looking for a tall, middle-aged man with short blonde-brown hair and a large stomach who was in Woy Woy or Umina on Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
