Pembroke Pines, Fla.- The spokeswoman for the Pembroke Pines police department, Amanda Conwell, said a police officer was refused service Tuesday night at an Arby’s restaurant. The reason for being refused, according to Conwell, was because the customer was a police officer.
The uniformed officer was in the drive-through of the Arby’s, when she was told that she would not be served, because she was a police officer. She left without her roast beef sandwich.
Of course, the cops and their worshipers are outraged and even asked members of the community to call the department if they had information about the incident. It’s not clear what they intended to do with further information. Probably some cry-baby cop shit, like harassing the employee and/or getting him fired like they did when a police officer was recently refused service at Jimmy John’s in Minnesota.
“I am offended and appalled that an individual within our community would treat a police officer in such a manner. It is unacceptable, and I will be contacting the Arby’s CEO to demand an apology,” Chief Dan Giustino said in a statement.
The restaurant issued an apology and the Chief said it’s all good.
A police officer was also recently refused service at a Chuck E. Cheese.
I have the utmost respect for employees that refuse service to cops. I applaud their willingness to risk unemployment and harassment. They risk their livelihood to send a message to law enforcement: You aren’t welcome in our community.
Many will compare this to civil rights, but it’s not against the law to refuse service to police officers. This officer wasn’t refused service based on her race, religion, or sexual orientation. She was denied service because she is a member of an organization that relies on extorting the community it occupies, commits violence against people regularly for non-violent offenses, and protects its members from accountability when they commit reprehensible crimes.
