Police investigate shooting in Sydney

Police are investigating a shooting in Sydney’s southwest after bullet holes were found in a fence.

Officers were called to Shannon Street, Greenacre about 9pm (AEST) on Sunday after the discovery was made.

They then found that three fence panels and a garage door had all been struck by bullets.

Police said other residents had heard noises similar to gunshots about 8.30pm.

No one was injured in the shooting.

Police are urging anyone with information to call Bankstown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
