POLICE are hunting a man who allegedly bashed and raped a woman at a Perth beach.
The 22-year-old woman was walking at City Beach between noon and 1pm (WST) yesterday when the man grabbed her and dragged her into the dunes.
He punched her in the jaw, breaking it in two places, then raped her, a police spokeswoman said.
The woman is recovering in hospital.
Police are calling for anyone who may have seen something to come forward.
