Police hunt man over sex attack

Police are hunting a man after a woman was sexually assaulted three times near a Melbourne train station.

The 25-year-old was leaving the Broadmeadows station on Thursday June 12, when the suspect approached her on a BMX style bike, police say.

The man then tried to start a conversation with the woman before indecently assaulting her in Railway Crescent.

He indecently assaulted the woman twice more in nearby Walsh Street before riding away when she began screaming.

A CCTV image of a man they want to question in relation to the attack has been released.

The man is described as being in his early 20s and of slim build.

He was wearing baggy blue jeans, white sneakers, black T-shirt, black hooded jumper and black baseball cap with the letter “B” written in pink on the front.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
