Police have appealed for help to find a Newcastle woman who is believed to have disappeared on the state’s north coast.
Officers say 49-year-old Lee Pawley dropped her kids off in Brisbane on Friday and was expected back at her mother’s home at Grafton that night or on Saturday.
She hasn’t returned to her home at Newcastle or contacted her friends or family who say her disappearance is out of character.
Police say Ms Pawley was seen this morning at Lennox Head on the north coast between Bryon Bay and Ballina.
They have concerns for her state of mind.
The silver car she’s believed to be travelling in has Queensland registration plates 920 MAW.
