The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) posted a blog last year entitled “Polar Bear Population in Canada’s Western Hudson Bay Unlikely to Survive Climate Disruption.”
They claimed the polar bear population was suffering due to man-made climate change. AL Gore used this ideal as well in his film An Inconvenient Truth.
Yet, a recent survey by the Government of Numavat in April of 2012 tells a completely different story. The region they monitored encompasses the Nunavat and Manitoba where polar bears live. This area is close to the Arctic.
Researchers found that polar bear populations are estimated at 66% higher than climate change alarmists predicted.
The claim of the drowning polar bears goes back to a federal study that was obviously doctored. The 2006 paper from the journal Polar Biology lacked any supporting evidence for its claims that “drowning-related deaths of polar bears may increase in the future if the observed trend of regression of pack ice and/or longer open-water periods continues.”
Biologist Charles Monnett, the lead scientist on the paper, who is currently working with the Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement, found a polar bear carcass and then devised the story that became the claim that polar bears were drowning.
To further substantiate this research, satellite images show 36 groups of Antarctic emperor penguins. They have grown to be twice as large as climate change alarmists had warned about in the previous year.
The climate change alarmists have been wrong about nearly all their predictions. According to them, we should be living in a burned planet; however, everything appears to be less than catastrophic.
Now, these scientists are shifting their sights on a phenomenon called the “planetary biodiversity crisis”.
Harvard ant biologist Dr. Edward O. Wilson is saying that by his estimates, 50,000 species are becoming extinct – and the cause is man-made climate change.
Philip Stott, U.K. scientist and professor emeritus of Biogeography at the University of London, commented on Wilson’s statement:
“The Earth has gone through many periods of major extinctions, some much larger than even being contemplated today . . . the idea that we can keep all species that now exist would be anti-evolutionary, anti-nature and anti the very nature of the Earth in which we live.”
Environmental activist Tim Keating of Rainforest Relief, a comrade of Wilson is ringing the bell of destruction by man on the biodiversity of Earth. He relies on theoretical computer models to justify these claims. However, when he was asked which species specifically were gone, he replied, “No we can’t, because we don’t know what those species are. But most of the species we’re talking about in those estimates are things like insects and even microorganisms.”
The journal Nature recently published a fear-mongering article called, “World’s Sixth Mass Extinction May be Underway: Study”. It goes on to purport that “over the past 540 million years, five mega-wipeouts of species have occurred through naturally-induced events. But the new threat is man-made, inflicted by habitation loss, over-hunting, over-fishing, the spread of germs and viruses and introduced species, and by climate change caused by fossil-fuel greenhouse gases.”
The new threat to humanity is biodiversity. E. Calvin Beiser cited in his article called “Move Over, Global Warming- Biodiversity is the Next Central Organizing principle of Human Civilization” that climate change alarmists follow a distinct pattern of fear and manipulation to control the public into supporting their agenda. However, all of their claims are contrived from computer modal projections and not sound scientific data. Their ultimate aim is always to put restrictions on the industries of agriculture, manufacturing and capitalism. They promote depopulation and securitization of growth because the human population’s growth rate is not “natural”.
Dr. Peter Moore, ecologist and co-founder of Greenpeace, says the study is flawed. “Since species extinction became a broad social concern, coinciding with the extinction of the passenger pigeon, we have done a pretty good job of preventing species extinctions.” He also believes that “The authors [of the journal Nature] study greatly underestimate the rate new species can evolve, especially when existing species are under stress,” noting: “The polar bear evolved during the glaciations previous to the last one, just 150,000 years ago.”
Obvious is the UN’s IPCC’s continuous rally for control through the guise of man-made climate change.
The recent extremes in weather have been up for the climate alarmists to scare everyone into believing they are responsible. First the planet is warming, then cooling, then o-zone is the problem, then CO2 is evil . . . and now the species of the planet are going extinct because of humans.
Environment Minister Ryo Matsumoto spoke at the UN’s Biodiversity Conference in October of 2010. He said that, “we are now close to the tipping point”. He goes on to say that biodiversity is an irreversible loss that will cause catastrophic effects on the planet if we do not gain control over the human population through conserving biodiversity.
The UN, along with their barrage of paid-for scientists, are scheming to create global governance.
They will gain control through the unscientific claims of man-made climate change and destruction of the biodiversity of the planet.
But only if we let them.
