PayGo, the smart grid software and services provider which enables the rapid provisioning of smart grid “apps” such as “pay as you go” services, announced today that David Elve has joined PayGo as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
As Executive Vice President, Mr. Elve is charged with expanding PayGo’s brand, sales, and business development activities. Mr. Elve most recently served as Vice President for Sensus. He has also served as Vice President and Principal Consultant with Enspiria Solutions, Vice President with Landis+Gyr, and as Group Vice President with Atos Origin. He previously served for ten years in various management and executive positions with Schlumberger and Convergent Group.
Mr. Elve is also a founder and Past President of the Smart Meter Manufacturers Association of America (SMMAA). He was recently named to the “Fierce Grid 15 Most Influential People in Energy.”

Mr. Elve holds a bachelor of science in business administration from Auburn University and earned an MBA in finance from the Stetson School of Business at Mercer University. Most recently Mr. Elve completed the executive management program at the Georgia Technical School of Management.
