An Adelaide mother and father have pleaded not guilty to killing their teenage daughter three years ago.
Richard David Clifford Edward, 49, and Debra Marlene Edward, 52, pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of Dawn Edward, 14, in August 2009 at Hackham West in Adelaide’s southern outskirts.
The mother’s barrister told the South Australian Supreme Court on Monday she was visually impaired and would seek to be tried by a judge alone.
The case was adjourned until November 9.
