EMMA ALBERICI, PRESENTER: Mining magnate Clive Palmer says he won’t be seeking LNP pre-selection in the federal Brisbane seat of Lilley, which is held by Treasurer Wayne Swan.
But the Queensland billionaire says he will aim to contest another electorate, which he will announce later this week.
Seats yet to open for LNP nominations include Kevin Rudd’s Brisbane electorate of Griffith, Capricornia in central Queensland and Kennedy in the north, which is held by Bob Katter.
