Pakistan PM avoids jail after being convicted of contempt

Benazir Bhutto, a former two-time prime minister, was assassinated in
Rawalpindi in December 2007, while her mother died of ill health at a Dubai
hospital last October.

Mr Gilani in December announced his intention not to comply with the court
orders, saying that would be tantamount to “putting the grave of Benazir
Bhutto on trial”.
