Two men have been rescued after spending several hours in waters off southern Queensland when their boat capsized and sunk.
The two men, aged 63 and 50, were plucked from the ocean on Friday night, after their vessel suffered an engine failure around 2pm, before capsizing and sinking near the Jumpinpin Bar.
Police say the 50-year-old was retrieved by fishermen about 9pm, while the second man was found about an hour later.
The 63-year-old was taken to Gold Coast Hospital suffering suspected hypothermia, but both men were otherwise uninjured.
