Police have found a large stash of marijuana along with drug-growing equipment at a house in the Gold Coast hinterland.
A 33-year-old-man and and a 32-year-old woman have been charged with a range of drug offences after almost 40 kilos of marijuana was found at the house in Austinville.
Police say they also found money and hydroponics equipment used to grow cannabis.
The house was raided following an investigation into marijuana distribution on the the main Gold Coast night club strip.
The pair have been charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, producing dangerous drugs, possessing equipment connected with producing dangerous drugs and possession of proceeds of crime.
The man was expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Saturday.
The woman has been granted bail and is expected to appear in the same court on August 10.
