Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. – John 8.44

“I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.” Rev 3.9

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.” Rev. 2.9

"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come." Matthew 3:7

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.” – Romans 2:28-29

"I and my Father are one,[31] Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. JOHN 10:30-31

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, for you suffered the same things from your own compatriots as they did from the Jews, who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out; they displease God and oppose everyone by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. Thus they have constantly been filling up the measure of their sins; but God’s wrath has overtaken them at last. - Thessalonians 2:14-16

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. - Ephesians 6:12

Islam and Christianity have become servants of the Jews. Acting as physical and spiritual cattle for the Jews to harvest in building their Global Satanic Kingdom.

If I converted to Buddhism, does that make me Chinese? If I converted to Hinduism, does that make me Indian? When Khazarians (Turks) converted to Judaism in 740 BC and stole the true Semite Israelite Greek Aegean identity, did that make the counterfeit Jews Hebrew? Well, the Jew World Order seems to think so. They crucified Jesus Christ for exposing them.

G7 Tax Deal: From Global Tax to Global Government

Imagine if you spent months planning an elaborate 50th birthday party for yourself—hiring performers, decorating your place and inviting everyone you know—and when the big day finally arrived . . . no one bothered to show up. Embarrassing, right?

Well, that’s essentially what happened to the European Union in 2007 when they threw themselves a 50th Anniversary Extravaganza. Reports at the time talked of EU-sponsored “citizen parties,” street festivals and public celebrations that were largely ignored by the public. About the only thing that Europeans can ever agree on is their differences, and even after 50 years of conditioning it seemed few outside of Brussels were stirred by the EU flag or the thought of half a century of political union.

Perhaps that’s because 2007 did not really mark the 50th anniversary of the EU or 50 years of political union at all. No, 2007 was the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, a 1957 compact to form a common market and customs union between six European nations. It is doubtful that many people beyond the handful of Bilderbergers and globalists who signed the treaty could have imagined that it would result in a grandiose anniversary celebration for the European Union 50 years hence.

(FUN FACT: The “Treaty of Rome” that was signed on March 25, 1957, was literally a blank document because “[t]he Italian state printer had not met the deadline.”)

It makes you wonder: Is there any seemingly innocuous event taking place in the world today that, 50 years from now, may be commemorated as the moment that some monstrous globalist institution was born?

SPOILER: Yes. Yes, there is such an event happening right now. Find out more in this week’s edition of The Corbett Report Subscriber.

Breaking News: Resurrection and Rapture

Breaking News ani

Listen! I am telling you a mystery:

We will not all fall asleep,
but we will all be changed,
in a moment, in the blink of an eye,
at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we will be changed.
(1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

What do we consider to be news?

There are several elements of newsworthiness. Good news stories have more than one of these elements:.

1) Prominence – A well-known person, place, or event has a stronger news angle than something that the audience isn’t familiar with.

Sidney Powell Claims Trump ‘Can Simply Be Reinstated,’ Biden Told to Leave White House / Newsweek, May 30, 2021

Sidney Powel

Powell made the remarks during the “For God & Country Patriot Roundup” conference in Dallas this weekend. Also speaking at the event was retired general Michael Flynn, the former Trump national security who has also repeatedly pushed false claims about the 2020 election.

“He can simply be reinstated,” Powell said of Trump during the conference. The crowd cheered loudly in response to her groundless claims.

“And Biden is told to move out of the White House,” the lawyer continued with a smirk on her face. “And President Trump should be moved back in. I’m sure there’s not going to be credit for time lost, unfortunately. Because the Constitution itself sets the date for inauguration. But he should definitely get the remainder of his term and make the best of it. That’s for sure,” Powell insisted.

.

2) Timeliness – Current news has more impact than something that happened yesterday or last week.

EU leaders urge unfettered probe into origins of COVID-19 / MSN News, June 10, 2021

BELGIUM-EU-G7-ECONOMY-SUMMIT-DIPLOMACY

“Investigators need complete access to whatever is necessary to really find the source of this pandemic,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told a news conference in Brussels.

The head of the European Council, Charles Michel, said: “The world has the right to know exactly what happened in order to be able to learn the lessons.” He added that the EU supported all efforts.

.

3) Oddity – If something is unusual, shocking, or bizarre, the strangeness alone could make it newsworthy.

Pentagon whistleblower says UFOs have meddled with secret US nuclear weapons facilities and even forced some offline – calling actions a ‘global threat’ / DailyMail, June 9, 2021

Luis Elizondo former head of the Pentagon Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program

Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, said UFOs have interfered with U.S. nuclear technology. Several UFO sightings have been above secret nuclear weapons facilities and almost every major nuclear power across the globe has reported these sightings.

Elizondo said that the phenomenon is a national security ‘concern,’ and said that the same observation has been made in other countries, making it a ‘global issue,’ Elizondo said considering the huge nuclear footprint the U.S. has there should be nothing surprising about increased interest by the UFOs. The Pentagon’s UAP Task Force is set to reveal their findings when they submit a long-awaited report on UFOs to Congress on June 25.

.

4) Consequence – If the impact of an event may directly affect readers, they’ll want to know about it.

Erdogan Advisor Presents Vision Of United Islamic Superpower / Middle East Media Research Institute, January 14, 2020

SADAT Inc

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s chief advisor, retired Turkish general Adnan Tanrıverdi, has been articulating a vision of a unified Islamic superpower through conferences and documents published by his organizations. This vision is reflected in President Erdoğan’s foreign policy.

The Justice Defenders Strategic Studies Center (ASSAM), of which Tanrıverdi is chairman of the board, has scheduled seven annual “congresses,” of which three have taken place, to work through the technical problems in the formation and governance of an “Islamic union.”[1] At a recent ASSAM Congress, Tanrıverdi called for the coordination of the joint manufacturing of weapons and military equipment among Islamic countries, saying: “States cannot stand tall against the countries whose weapons they use.” ASSAM has also published a 69-page draft of a constituion for a planned shari’a-based confederation of 61 Islamic countries. This constituion declares that “sovereignty belongs to shariah,” that Istanbul is to be the capital of the confederation, that the Arabic language would be taught in all of its schools, and that its name will be “Asrica,” which is formed from a combination of Asia and Africa.

.

5) Conflict – Audiences are always interested in disagreements, arguments, and rivalries.

Echoing Trump, Netanyahu says election stolen, ‘deep state’ within new coalition / The Times of Israel, June 7, 2021

Israel Netanyahu

“The deep state is deep within this government,” Netanyahu said of the nascent coalition set to replace him, using a term for a supposed conspiracy of bureaucrats working against the elected leadership, popularized by Trump during his time in office.

Netanyahu repeatedly accused Bennett of lying to the public, calling him at one point a “habitual liar.” And he claimed that the incoming government was “more dangerous” than Israel’s pullout from Gaza, which he said resulted in Hamas rocket attacks, and the Oslo peace accords, which gave the Palestinians limited self-rule in the West Bank.

“Bennett is holding a fire sale on the country,” he charged, claiming that the coalition was coming together only because votes had been “stolen from right [and given] to the left.”

.

6) Impact – Whether it’s a peaceful protest that encompasses five city blocks or a 52-car pileup on the pike, the more people involved in the event, the more newsworthy it is.

Lindell Sues Dominion For $2B, Details Evidence Of 19 Cyber Attacks From China That Flipped 530k Votes In 5 Key Battleground States / CD Media, June 3, 2021

Lindell Sues Dominion

Dominion, Smartmatic, and others are desperate to cover up gross security flaws in their electronic voting systems—and information showing cyber attacks and hacking in the November 2020 election—by uniting in a common purpose to use the litigation process to attempt to suppress the revelation and public discussion of these truths.

In addition, Exhibit 12 shows a subset of 20 documented successful hacks through the election management system in the states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona resulting in a total 555,864 votes switched from President Trump to candidate Vice President Biden in the 2020 general election. These hacks came primarily from within China and are identified by the date, location, and the network from which the hack originated and the location and network that was the target of the hack.

What was news in the 1st century?

In the first century, there were only around 200 million people in the world, and the Roman empire ruled the planet. With an estimated population of between 800,000 and 1 million residents, Rome was the largest and most powerful city by the year 1 AD. Much of what we know about civilization in this ancient era comes from history recorded during Rome’s reign.

glory of rome

How can we explain a miniscule movement from a corner of Palestine in the first century that rapidly grew into the dominant faith of the entire Roman Empire, which was formerly steeped in a myriad of pagan religions? The early Christians had no church buildings . . . no mass media . . . no social status . . .

Jesus heals

Jesus was going all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. Then the news about Him spread throughout Syria. (Matthew 4:23-24)

In the face of unimaginable and unrelenting persecution, Christianity not only survived, it thrived.

Christianity spread

Justin Martyr, writing to Emperor Antoninus Pius, described the believers: “We formerly rejoiced in uncleanness of life, but now love only chastity; before we used the magic arts, but now dedicate ourselves to the true and unbegotten God; before we loved money and possessions more than anything, but now we share what we have and to everyone who is in need; before we hated one another and killed one another and would not eat with those of another race, but now since the manifestation of Christ, we have come to a common life and pray for our enemies and try to win over those who hate us without just cause.

first century Christians

Critics of the Bible often say the events which took place in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are not historical, but a mere myth. The basis of this assertion is the belief that miracles are not possible: The idea that a man could come back from the dead after being brutally crucified is preposterous to some, doubtful to others. To an atheist, the Good News is “fake news.”

Christ_Carrying_the_Cross

But, the facts of the historical record reveal that men did see Jesus dead on a Roman cross, and then alive three days later.

Tomb Empty With Shroud And Crucifixion At Sunrise Resurrection O

These men also state that Jesus opened the eyes of the blind, caused the crippled to walk, turned water into wine, and walked on the surface of the sea.

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. (1 John 1:1)

jesus and dsciples 2

For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes. (2 Peter 1:16)

One of the most compelling pieces of evidence from secular history that serves to validate the presence of Jesus on earth, dying on a cross and resurrected from the dead, is the persecution of the early followers of Jesus by the Roman government.

The Romans were very tolerant of every religion, except Christianity. The Roman Emperors determined that Christianity was a terrible superstition, in which its followers believed in the impossible: their leader had risen from the dead.

In the year 112 A.D., Pliny the Younger—governor of the Roman province of Bithynia (Turkey)—wrote a letter to the Roman Emperor Trajan, requesting clarification on his orders to execute those who were Christians. This was Emperor Trajan’s reply:

Emperor Trajan

“My Pliny,

You have taken the method which you ought in examining the causes of those that had been accused as Christians, for indeed no certain and general form of judging can be ordained in this case. These people are not to be sought for; but if they be accused and convicted, they are to be punished; but with this caution, that he who denies himself to be a Christian, and makes it plain that he is not so by supplicating to our gods, although he had been so formerly, may be allowed pardon, upon his repentance. As for libels sent without an author, they ought to have no place in any accusation whatsoever, for that would be a thing of very ill example, and not agreeable to my reign.”

This letter exchange between two Roman officials, which are now kept in the Archives of the Roman Senate and originating from a secular source, verifies that many thousands of Christians were executed for simply believing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Remember that the resurrection and a belief in Jesus Christ are inseparable.

Without the resurrection, there is no Christianity.

.

What will be the breaking news in the 21st century?

breaking news alert ani

The next world-changing tipping point will be the global disappearance of millions of Christians:

.

millions vanish ani

Where have the godly and faithful people gone?

rapture-news

When this worldwide Rapture happens, it will bring a level of shock we can’t comprehend. People from every segment of society will simply vanish, leaving behind spouses, children, neighbors, and co-workers.

What happens when millions are gone in an instant?

Rather than acknowledge that the Christians were right, and the saved have been Raptured away from this dying world, the disappearance of millions will be explained as a mass alien abduction, in order to free humanity to finally progress to the next stage of its great and glorious evolution.

alien arrival ani

The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders, and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)

Don’t believe the deception!

It’s not extraterrestrial in nature… it’s supernatural.

It’s a manifestation of a spiritual war that is being waged around us—between the demonic forces of evil (led by Lucifer) and the divine forces good (led by God).

Independence Day 3 ani

Again, don’t buy the alien deception!

First, you need to trust Christ today so that you are part of the soon Rapture of the bride of Christ… not left behind to witness the great deception become the strong delusion during the great tribulation!

Second, if you chose not to trust Christ and you wake up to a day in the near future where you discover millions of men, women, and children have disappeared… you now know (1) it wasn’t the aliens and (2) it wasn’t the “Galactic Federation” benevolently intervening to enable humanity to advance to the next great stage of its development.

Rather, you now know that it was God rescuing (snatching away) His children before He unleashes His wrath on a wicked and sinful world during the apocalyptic seven-year tribulation period, also known as Daniel’s 70th Week and the time of Jacob’s Trouble!

If that’s the situation you find yourself in, then know that things are not going to get better—they’re going to get worse… much worse, and very quickly!

However, also know that you can still be saved by turning to Christ (and not taking the mark of the beast)… but it will likely cost you your life (the alternative being you are still going to die but will also face eternal damnation in hell).

pope erdogan ani

The intensity of the deception has reached a fevered pitch. We are clearly on the very threshold of the Rapture. Don’t miss it for the world! Get on the Ark that is Jesus Christ and escape the coming apocalyptic tribulation period!

Aliens? No, it’s the great deception folks… don’t fall for it!

Today is your day of salvation… you may not have a tomorrow!

This is the breaking news!

If you are not sure that you are saved, you can accept Christ into your life right now, by praying:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior.”

Israel’s Parliament Approves New Coalition, Ending Netanyahu’s Long Rule

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel’s parliament approved a new coalition government on Sunday that sent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into the opposition after a record 12 years in office and a political crisis that sparked four elections in two years.

Naftali Bennett, the head of a small ultranationalist party, was sworn in as prime minister after a narrow 60-59 vote in parliament. But if he wants to keep the job, he will have to maintain an unwieldy coalition of parties from the political right, left and center.

The eight parties, including a small Arab faction that is making history by sitting in the ruling coalition, are united in their opposition to Netanyahu and new elections but agree on little else. They are likely to pursue a modest agenda that seeks to reduce tensions with the Palestinians and maintain good relations with the U.S. without launching any major initiatives.

Netanyahu sat silently during the vote. After it was approved, he stood up to leave the chamber, before turning around and shaking Bennett’s hand. A dejected Netanyahu, wearing a black medical mask, briefly sat in the opposition leader’s chair before walking out.

Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption, remains the head of the largest party in parliament and is expected to vigorously oppose the new government. If just one faction bolts, it could lose its majority and would be at risk of collapse, giving him an opening to return to power.

The country’s deep divisions were on vivid display as Bennett addressed parliament ahead of the vote. He was repeatedly interrupted and loudly heckled by supporters of Netanyahu, several of whom were escorted out of the chamber.

Bennett’s speech mostly dwelled on domestic issues, but he expressed opposition to U.S. efforts to revive Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers.

“Israel will not allow Iran to arm itself with nuclear weapons,” Bennett said, vowing to maintain Netanyahu’s confrontational policy. “Israel will not be a party to the agreement and will continue to preserve full freedom of action.”

Bennett nevertheless thanked President Joe Biden and the U.S. for its decades of support for Israel.

Netanyahu, speaking after him, vowed to return to power. He predicted the incoming government would be weak on Iran and give in to U.S. demands to make concessions to the Palestinians.

“If it is destined for us to be in the opposition, we will do it with our backs straight until we topple this dangerous government and return to lead the country in our way,” he said.

Yohanan Plesner, president of the Israel Democracy Institute, a nonpartisan think tank, said the new government will likely be more stable than it appears.

“Even though it has a very narrow majority, it will be very difficult to topple and replace because the opposition is not cohesive,” he said. Each party in the coalition will want to prove that it can deliver, and for that they need “time and achievements.”

Still, Netanyahu “will continue to cast a shadow,” Plesner said. He expects the incoming opposition leader to exploit events and propose legislation that right-wing coalition members would like to support but can’t — all in order to embarrass and undermine them.

The new government is meanwhile promising a return to normalcy after a tumultuous two years that saw four elections, an 11-day Gaza war last month and a coronavirus outbreak that devastated the economy before it was largely brought under control by a successful vaccination campaign.

The driving force behind the coalition is Yair Lapid, a political centrist who will become prime minister in two years, if the government lasts that long.

He called off a planned speech to parliament, instead saying he was ashamed that his 86-year-old mother had to witness the raucous behavior of his opponents. In a brief speech, he asked for “forgiveness from my mother.”

“I wanted her to be proud of the democratic process in Israel. Instead she, along with every citizen of Israel, is ashamed of you and remembers clearly why it’s time to replace you,” he said.

The new government is expected to win a narrow majority in the 120-member assembly, after which it will be sworn in. The government plans to hold its first official meeting later this evening.

It’s unclear when Netanyahu will move out of the official residence. He has lashed out at the new government in apocalyptic terms and accused Bennett of defrauding voters by running as a right-wing stalwart and then partnering with the left.

Netanyahu’s supporters have held angry protests outside the homes of rival lawmakers, who say they have received death threats naming their family members. Israel’s Shin Bet internal security service issued a rare public warning about the incitement earlier this month, saying it could lead to violence.

Netanyahu has condemned the incitement while noting that he has also been a target.

His place in Israeli history is secure, having served as prime minister for a total of 15 years — more than any other, including the country’s founder, David Ben-Gurion.

Netanyahu began his long rule by defying the Obama administration, refusing to freeze settlement construction as it tried unsuccessfully to revive the peace process. Relations with Israel’s closest ally grew even rockier when Netanyahu vigorously campaigned against President Barack Obama’s emerging nuclear deal with Iran, even denouncing it in an address to the U.S. Congress.

But he suffered few if any consequences from those clashes and was richly rewarded by the Trump administration, which recognized contested Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, helped broker normalization agreements with four Arab states and withdrew the U.S. from the Iran deal.

Netanyahu has portrayed himself as a world-class statesman, boasting of his close ties with Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has also cultivated ties with Arab and African countries that long shunned Israel over its policies toward the Palestinians.

But he has gotten a far chillier reception from the Biden administration and is widely seen as having undermined the long tradition of bipartisan support for Israel in the United States.

His reputation as a political magician has also faded at home, where he has become a deeply polarizing figure. Critics say he has long pursued a divide-and-conquer strategy that aggravated rifts in Israeli society between Jews and Arabs and between his close ultra-Orthodox allies and secular Jews.

In November 2019, he was indicted for fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes. He refused calls to step down, instead lashing out at the media, judiciary and law enforcement, going so far as to accuse his political opponents of orchestrating an attempted coup. Last year, protesters began holding weekly rallies across the country calling on him to resign.

Netanyahu remains popular among the hard-line nationalists who dominate Israeli politics, but he could soon face a leadership challenge from within his own party. A less polarizing Likud leader would stand a good chance of assembling a coalition that is both farther to the right and more stable than the government that is set to be sworn in.

‘Intense’ Iran nuclear talks resume as Germany calls for rapid progress

Indirect talks between Tehran and Washington on reviving the 2015 Iran nuclear deal resumed in Vienna on Saturday as the European Union said negotiations were “intense” and Germany called for rapid progress, reports Reuters.

The sixth round of talks began as usual with a meeting of remaining parties to the deal – Iran, Russia, China, France, Britain, Germany, and the European Union – in the basement of a luxury hotel.

The US delegation to the talks, known as the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA), is based in a hotel across the street as Iran refuses face-to-face meetings.

The talks’ chief coordinator, EU foreign policy official Enrique Mora, who is leading the shuttle diplomacy between Iran and the United States, has said he expects a deal in this round of talks. Other envoys, however, are more cautious, saying many difficult issues are yet to be resolved.

READ: Iran ready to ramp up oil output if US lifts sanctions, says official

“We are making progress but the negotiations are intense and a number of issues (remain), including on how steps are to be implemented,” an EU spokesman said in a statement to reporters, adding that the aim was “to find ways to get very close to a final agreement in the coming days”.

The top Iranian negotiator, Abbas Araqchi, suggested it was unlikely the talks would conclude before Iran’s presidential election on Friday.

“I don’t think we will be able to reach a final conclusion in Vienna this week,” Iranian state media quoted Araqchi as saying.

The deal, or JCPoA, imposed strict limits on Iran’s nuclear activities designed to extend the time Tehran would need to obtain enough fissile material for a nuclear weapon, if it chose to, to at least a year from two to three months.

Iran denies ever pursuing nuclear weapons, saying its aims are solely peaceful.

President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the deal in 2018 and reimposed economic sanctions lifted by the deal. Iran responded by breaching many of those limits, producing more enriched uranium than allowed and enriching to higher purity levels, recently to near weapons-grade.

“Playing for time is in no one’s interest,” German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, who is not at the talks, told Reuters, urging all sides to show flexibility and pragmatism.

China’s top envoy said the main sticking point was US sanctions. “Our message to them (the United States) is that they should stop shilly-shallying by moving decisively to sanction-lifting,” China’s ambassador to the UN nuclear watchdog, Wang Qun, told reporters.

On the steps Iran must take to return to compliance with the deal, Wang said: “To a great extent, the major issues have been worked out as a matter of principle, though I think there are some fixes (left).”

Christian Eriksen: Danish FA issues health update after midfielder collapses during Euro 2020 game

Footballer Christian Eriksen is awake in hospital and has sent his greetings to his teammates, the Danish FA said in a new update on Sunday morning after the player’s life was saved on the pitch at the Euro 2020 game between Denmark and Finland.

The Inter Milan midfielder stumbled forward in the 43rd minute and and underwent CPR in front of fans, his family and millions of television viewers.

The Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) said the player is receiving further examination at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen.

“This morning we have spoken to Christian Eriksen, who has sent his greetings to his teammates,” it said.

“We would likle to thank everyone for the heartfelt greetings to Christian Eriksen from both fans, players, the royal families from both Denmark and England, international associations, clubs etc.

“We encourage everyone to send their greetings to the Danish FA where we will make sure they are passed on to Christian and his family.”

There were scenes of distress on Saturday night as teammates tried to shield Eriksen from TV viewers as medics performed lifesaving CPR. Simon Kjaer and Kasper Schmeichel could be seen consoling Eriksen’s partner.

“The team and staff of the national team has received crisis assistance and will continue to be there for each other after yesterday’s incident,” the DBU added.

Eriksen collapsed face first as he rushed to receive a throw-in close to the corner flag deep in Finland’s half and teammates formed a shield around the midfielder while he received treatment.

After he was carried off the pitch on a stretcher, the fans inside the stadium in Copenhagen chanted Eriksen’s name in a moment of unity.

Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin said: “Moments like this put everything in life into perspective. I wish Christian a full and speedy recovery and pray his family has strength and faith.

“At these times, the unity of the football family is so strong and he and his family carry with them the good wishes and prayers of everyone. I heard of fans of both teams chanting his name. Football is beautiful and Christian plays it beautifully.”

Eriksen’s club side Inter Milan said on Twitter: “Forza Chris, all of our thoughts are with you”.

The Denmark match resumed after an almost 90-minute delay, with Finland scoring a winning goal.

Syria hospital hit in artillery attacks on Afrin, at least 13 killed

At least 13 people were killed and several wounded in two separate artillery attacks on the northern Syrian town of Afrin on Saturday, local medical sources and Turkey’s government said, reports Reuters.

The first attack struck a residential area, while the second hit a hospital shortly afterwards, civil defence sources said. Video footage on social media showed casualties amid the ruins of the Al Shifa hospital.

Ankara condemned the missile attack it said was launched by the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia, though the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the US-backed militia force spearheaded by the Kurdish YPG, said it was not responsible.

The Turkish defence ministry, which has a large military presence in the Syrian area, also put the death toll at 13 and said 27 were injured.

READ: UN ‘deeply concerned’ about conditions of 13.4m internally displaced Syrians

The governor’s office in Turkey’s Hatay province, bordering Afrin, said it was investigating the incident in which it said missiles were fired from the Tel Rifat area controlled by the Syrian government.

Turkey regards the YPG as a terrorist group tied to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) inside its own borders and has staged incursions into Syria in support of Syrian rebels to push it from the Turkish frontier.

Ankara now has thousands of troops in the last rebel enclave in Syria.

Violent protests over police abuses continue in Tunisia’s capital

Violent protests erupted in the streets of Tunisia’s capital again on Saturday night, adding to the pressure on Prime Minister’s Hichem Mechichi’s government to crack down on police abuses, reports Reuters.

The clashes occurred in the Sejoumi neighbourhood of Tunis and followed protests earlier in the day in the center of the city during which protesters threw chairs and stones at the police who responded by kicking and hitting them with sticks.

The release of a video this week of police stripping and beating a young man triggered widespread anger in the country and raised doubts about the credibility of police reforms undertaken after the 2011 revolution.

The police officers involved in the incident were arrested, and the prime minister said the incident was shocking and unacceptable.

READ: In Tunisia, victims of former regimes demand compensation

Protests in Sejoumi broke out on Tuesday after a man arrested by police on suspicion of dealing drugs died in custody. The family accused the police of beating him to death. Tunisia’s interior ministry has denied the allegation.

Human rights activists said police abuses have threatened to undermine the democratic gains made since the overthrow of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali’s repressive regime a decade ago.

The Israeli political circus

Is the Israeli election circus finally coming to an end? I wouldn’t bank on it quite yet, for two related reasons.

Since 2019, there have been no less than four general elections in Israel, all inconclusive. This is partly due to Israel’s electoral system, which uses proportional representation.

A confusing array of different parties competes for influence, across the whole spectrum of Israeli political life: from the right to the hard-right, on to the far-right and the ultra-right.

All are racist parties, and all agree on one overriding principle: maintaining the domination of Zionism, which means continuing to enforce the rule of Jewish supremacy in the land of Palestine.

Even Israel’s so-called “centrist” and allegedly “left-wing” Zionist parties are openly racist. All support the principle and practice of the “Jewish state,” in a country which has historically never been exclusively Jewish.

But because of a complicated and boring series of personal animosities and rivalries with Israel’s outgoing prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a large number of politicians from right-wing parties in Israel’s parliament – his previous coalition partners, ministers, and even former fellow Likud party colleagues – have all fallen out with him for one petty political reason or another.

OPINION: The Palestinians have dethroned the King of Israel

All of them still support Netanyahu’s racist anti-Palestinian policies.

But after four inconclusive elections, Israel now finally seems on the brink of bringing in a prime minister. The proposed new government would consist of a coalition of far-right, right-wing, and “centrist” parties. It is set to be led by far-right racist Naftali Bennett, who openly boasts about how many Arabs he has killed.

But, as I said, the reasons that I think it’s too soon to write Netanyahu off are two-fold.

Firstly, the final dice has not yet been cast. The Israeli parliament, the Knesset, is set to vote on the proposed new coalition government led by Bennett on Sunday. It is still not too late for Netanyahu – a long-term political survivor – to pull some trick out of the bag.

He could yet peel off a single politician from the fragile new coalition, which is all it would take for the new government to be strangled even before birth. Were that to happen, the most likely outcome would be a fifth election.

The second reason that I think it’s too soon to write Netanyahu off is simply this: even if Bennett and his allies win the vote on Sunday, the same dynamics are not going away.

Netanyahu is not ready to step down Cartoon [Sabaaneh/MiddleEastMonitor]

Netanyahu is not ready to step down – Cartoon [Sabaaneh/MiddleEastMonitor]

The alliance between Bennett and his main coalition partner Yair Lapid is extremely fragile. It has a tiny majority of one seat. And it is a partnership of parties united by only one thing (apart from Zionism) – a desire to overthrow Netanyahu as prime minister.

Netanyahu could easily go into opposition and still return to power before too long. It’s true that he is mired in legal troubles over his various corruption scandals. He may be going to jail. But if so, that’s a long way off. I would not rule out a future return to power just yet.

But all this just illustrates what a farce Israeli elections are. There is no democracy under Israel’s apartheid system. For Palestinians, this is a military dictatorship. When you talk to Palestinians they will tell you: it makes no difference to them which Israeli party rules, they are all racist, settler-colonial parties.

Even the non-Zionist, majority-Palestinian parties inside Israel are weak, ineffective, and ultimately neutered by the system imposed on them. Palestinian citizens of Israel (politicians, activists, and public figures) perceived to be a genuine threat to Israel’s apartheid system – such as Haneen Zoabi and Raed Salah – are hounded out of public life, harassed, banned, or jailed.

OPINION: Overthrowing Netanyahu

It is irrelevant to Palestinians which Zionist political party rules their lives. As long as the despotic, racist system of Zionism rules Palestine, there will be no peace. It is irrelevant whether it is the Zionist “left” or the Zionist “right” – the problem is settler-colonialism, with its necessary values of violence, racism, and apartheid.

It is irrelevant to Palestinians, because irrespective of which configuration of parties rules Israel, they will still be dominated by a violent military dictatorship in the West Bank, live under an inhuman military siege in the Gaza Strip, suffer from Israeli apartheid inside “Israel” and live expelled from their homeland in refugee camps in surrounding countries – solely and exclusively because they are not Jewish.

That is the reality of Zionism. And that is what Palestinians are fighting. The Israeli political circus changes none of that.

U.S. Border Officers Seize Fake Rolex Watches From Hong Kong

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Louisville recently seized 20 fraudulent Rolex watches in a shipment from Hong Kong, the agency announced on Thursday.

Had the watches been authentic, they would have a market value of over $491,000, according to the CBP.

The shipment, destined to a residence in Miami, was seized at the Port of Louisville. The fake watches were manifested as plastic cards and had a total declared value of $100.

“Consumers should be aware that if a known high-value brand is being offered for an unusually low price, it could very well be fake. CBP encourages the use of reputable vendors for your valuable purchases,” stated Thomas Mahn, Louisville Port Director, in a statement.

Counterfeiting poses a serious risk to the U.S. economy. According to 2016 U.S. government statistics, counterfeit goods and piracy wiped out between $200 and $250 billion to the U.S. economy annually, while causing a loss of about 750,000 American jobs.

China and Hong Kong remain the top two sources of fake goods entering the U.S. market. According to statistics from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, CBP made 27,599 seizures in fiscal year 2019. These goods would have had an estimated retail price of over $1.5 billion if they were genuine.

Among these seizures in 2019, 13,293, or 48 percent, originated from China, followed by Hong Kong with 9,778 seizures, or 35 percent. The top category of seized products was counterfeit watches and jewelry, at 15 percent, followed by apparel and accessories at 14 percent.

Since 2020, CBP officers have reported several seizures of counterfeit Rolex watches from China and Hong Kong.

In February, CBP officers in Cincinnati announced the seizure of 85 fake Rolex watches that would have a total market value of over $5.8 million. The watches were found in a shipment originated from Hong Kong, transited through a freight forwarder in Saudi Arabia, and were headed to an apartment in New York City.

Also in Cincinnati, 200 fake Rolex watches were seized on Aug. 28, 2020, according to the CBP. The shipment, which was manifested as “timer,” originated from China and was destined for an individual in New York.

If genuine, the 200 fake watches would have a market value of more than $2.5 million, the CBP stated.

For two weeks prior to Aug. 12, 2020, CPB officers in Cincinnati seized a total of 54 counterfeit watches in two separate shipments from China. One of the shipments was headed to Jersey City in New Jersey, while the other to Mobile, Alabama.

The 54 fake watches had infringed upon the trademark of either Audemars Piguet, Rolex, Cartier, or Gucci, according to the CBP. If authentic, the watches would be worth about $1.9 million.

In March 2020, CBP officers in Philadelphia seized eight fake Rolex watches in a shipment from Hong Kong. The watches would have a total suggested retail price of about $100,400 if they were authentic.

G7: Climate decisions ‘most important in human history’, Attenborough warns leaders

G7 leaders are talking about climate change on the final day of their summit in England, with a warning from one prominent naturalist ringing in their ears.

Broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough says their decisions are “the most important in human history”, adding that urgent action is needed to avoid human-based environmental catastrophe.

All G7 countries have pledged to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050, but many environmentalists say that will be too late. At the summit in Cornwall, the leaders also plan to announce new green-financing plans to help poorer countries reduce carbon emissions.

Attenborough, who is due to address the leaders on Sunday by video, said global warming and loss of biodiversity are “beyond doubt,” as is the fact that “our societies and nations are unequal.”

He said “the question science forces us to address specifically in 2021 is whether as a result of these intertwined facts we are on the verge of destabilizing the entire planet?”

“If that is so, then the decisions we make this decade — in particular the decisions made by the most economically advanced nations — are the most important in human history,” Attenborough said in comments released by summit organisers.

Hundreds of environmental protesters took to the Cornish seaside on Saturday to highlight the issue.

Large crowds of surfers and kayakers took to the sea in a mass paddle protest to urge more action on protecting the oceans, while thousands chanted and beat drums as they marched outside the summit’s media center in Falmouth.

“G-7 is all greenwashing,” the protesters sang. “We’re drowning in promises, now’s the time to act.”

One of the summit’s key aims has been to set the stage for the UN climate conference being held in November in Scotland.

Climate activists and analysts have said filling a $100 billion (€82.5 billion) annual fund that is intended to help poor countries tackle the effects of global warming should be at the top of the G7’s to-do list.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s office said he met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Saturday and that the two agreed on the need for countries to step up and make ambitious commitments to cut carbon emissions and phase out the use of coal.

But very little substance on the topic has so far emerged from the talks.

The Group of Seven leaders are expected to end their first summit in two years with a list of promises, including tackling climate change with a blend of technology and money — as well as vaccinating the world against the coronavirus and forcing multinationals to pay their fair share of tax.

The leaders’ final communique is expected to formally embrace placing a global minimum tax of at least 15% on large multinational companies to stop corporations from using tax havens to shift profits and to avoid taxes.

There have been ambitious declarations about girls’ education, preventing future pandemics and using the finance system to fund green growth. The leaders have vowed to share vaccine doses with less well-off nations that urgently need them. Johnson said the group would pledge at least 1 billion doses, with half that coming from the United States and 100 million from Britain.

World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus commended the vaccine pledge but said it’s not enough. To truly end the pandemic, he said, 11 billion doses are needed to vaccinate at least 70% of the world’s population by the middle of next year.

The G7 leaders have also backed the Biden Administration’s “Build Back Better” world plan, to help low and middle-income countries with infrastructure. The move is a response to China’s “belt and road” initiative, which has increased Beijing’s influence in countries around the world.

But on Sunday morning it was uncertain how firm the group’s commitments will be overall when the leaders issue their final communique. It was also unclear whether all of the leaders would back the United States’ call to chastise China for repressing its Uyghur minority and other abuses.

US, UK Sign New Atlantic Charter Setting Focus on Red China

The United State’s president Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson signed a new Atlantic Charter on the eve of the G7 summit in the United Kingdom. The agreement and the related joint statement by the two heads of state set focus on communist China.

On June 10, Biden and Johnson signed the agreement that is modeled after the 1941 Atlantic charter signed by then-U.S. president Franklin Roosevelt and the British prime minister Winston Churchill in a pledge to cooperate on peace and democracy when Adolf Hitler’s National Socialist German Workers’ Party was invading the European continent.

The new charter will now see the allies cooperate again to face the expansion of socialism with Chinese characteristics as Beijing continues to challenge the international liberal democratic rules-based order.

“Our revitalised Atlantic Charter, building on the commitments and aspirations set out eighty years ago, affirms our ongoing commitment to sustaining our enduring values and defending them against new and old challenges,” Biden and Johnson said in a statement. “We commit to working closely with all partners who share our democratic values and to countering the efforts of those who seek to undermine our alliances and institutions.”

As was the case with the 1941 statement, the new Atlantic charter outlined eight key areas in which the United States and the United Kingdom have pledged to collaborate. They include defending the “principles, values, and institutions of democracy and open societies” and human rights, freedom of navigation and lawful use of the seas, and a commitment to open and fair trade between nations. Environmental and health stewardship were also mentioned among the eight key commitments.

The document did not mention communist China by name but it is clear that the commitments in the charter outline how the two countries intend to together face the threats posed by Beijing.

The commitments regarding human rights, rule of law, free press, fair trade, freedom of navigation, and protecting the liberal West’s “innovative edge” in science and technology directly address the Chinese regime’s ongoing encroachment on freedoms in Hong Kong, genocide against Uyghurs in Xinjiang, as well as its increased military aggression in the disputed South China Sea, setting of debt traps for nations involved in its Belt and Road Initiatives, and systematic stealing of others’ intellectual property.

The Chinese communist regime quickly responded to the new Atlantic charter on the same day, in what the regime saw was action targeting Beijing. China’s state-run English media Global Times said the document “misreads the major trend of the time and risks destabilizing Europe.”

Biden and Johnson said in a joint statement that the new Atlantic Charter would deepen the two countries’ cooperation in the key areas. They stressed that the United States and the United Kingdom support a thorough second phase investigation into the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic, and specifically named China.

“We will also support a timely, transparent, and evidence-based independent process for the next phase of the WHO-convened COVID-19 origins study, including in China, and for investigating outbreaks of unknown origin in the future,” the statement read.

A Critical Decade

A new freely downloadable book

I would like to announce the publication of a book, which discusses the urgent changes that are needed to save our planet and our collective future. The book may be downloaded and circulated free of charge from the following link:

Humanity has reached a critical decade

A new report, published on 14 March, 2021 in the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences’ journal Ambio, points out that humanity is hurtling towards destruction unless we have the collective wisdom to change course quickly. Here is a link to the artocle:

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s13280-021-01544-8

The Ambio article was written as part of the preparation for a meeting of Nobel Prize winners to discuss the state of the planet. The virtual meeting was held on April 26-28, 2021.

Nobel Prize Laureates and Other Experts Issue Urgent Call for Action

Here are  some quotations from the statement, which was signed by 126 Nobel laureates and other experts:

…“Science is a global common good on a quest for truth, knowledge, and innovation toward a better life. Now, humankind faces new challenges at unprecedented scale. The first Nobel Prize Summit comes amid a global pandemic, amid a crisis of inequality, amid an ecological crisis, amid a climate crisis, and amid an information crisis. These supranational crises are interlinked and threaten the enormous gains we have made in human progress. It is particularly concerning that the parts of the world projected to experience many of the compounding negative effects from global changes are also home to many of the world’s poorest communities, and to indigenous peoples. The summit also comes amid unprecedented urbanization rates and on the cusp of technological disruption from digitalization, artificial intelligence, ubiquitous sensing and biotechnology and nanotechnology that may transform all aspects of our lives in coming decade…

“The summit has been convened to promote a transformation to global sustainability for human prosperity and equity. Time is the natural resource in shortest supply. The next decade is crucial: Global greenhouse gas emissions need to be cut by half and destruction of nature halted and reversed. An essential foundation for this transformation is to address destabilizing inequalities in the world. Without transformational action this decade, humanity is taking colossal risks with our common future. Societies risk large-scale, irreversible changes to Earth’s biosphere and our lives as part of it.

“We need to reinvent our relationship with planet Earth. The future of all life on this planet, humans and our societies included, requires us to become effective stewards of the global commons – the climate, ice, land, ocean, freshwater, forests, soils, and rich diversity of life that regulate the state of the planet, and combine to create a unique and harmonious life-support system. There is now an existential need to build economies and societies that support Earth system harmony rather than disrupt it…”

Israel to swear in new government, ending Netanyahu’s long rule

Israel is set to swear in a new government on Sunday that will send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into the opposition after a record 12 years in office and a political crisis that sparked four elections in two years.

Naftali Bennett, the head of a small ultranationalist party, will take over as prime minister.

Netanyahu, who is on trial for corruption, remains the head of the largest party in parliament and is expected to vigorously oppose the new government. If just one faction bolts, it could lose its majority and would be at risk of collapse, giving him an opening to return to power.

The new government is promising a return to normalcy after a tumultuous two years that saw four elections, an 11-day Gaza war last month and a coronavirus outbreak that devastated the economy before it was largely brought under control by a successful vaccination campaign.

The driving force behind the coalition is Yair Lapid, a political centrist who will become prime minister in two years, if the government lasts that long.

Israel’s parliament, known as the Knesset, will convene to vote on the new government at 4 p.m. (1300 GMT). It is expected to win a narrow majority of at least 61 votes in the 120-member assembly, after which it will be sworn in. The government plans to hold its first official meeting later this evening.

It’s unclear if Netanyahu will attend the ceremony or when he will move out of the official residence.

The Latest: Attenborough: G-7 must speed up climate action

The Latest on the Group of Seven nations meeting being held in England:

FALMOUTH, England — Group of Seven leaders are talking about climate change on the final day of their summit in England, with naturalist David Attenborough warning they must take urgent action to avoid human-based environmental catastrophe.

All G-7 countries have pledged to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050, but many environmentalists say that will be too late. The leaders also plan to announce new green-financing plans to help poorer countries reduce carbon emissions.

Attenborough, who is due to address the leaders on Sunday by video, said global warning and loss of biodiversity are “beyond doubt,” as is the fact that “our societies and nations are unequal.”

He said “the question science forces us to address specifically in 2021 is whether as a result of these intertwined facts we are on the verge of destabilizing the entire planet?”

“If that is so, then the decisions we make this decade — in particular the decisions made by the most economically advanced nations — are the most important in human history,” Attenborough said in comments released by summit organizers.

FALMOUTH, England — The head of the World Health Organization has welcomed the vaccine-sharing announcements coming out of the Group of Seven summit but says “we need more, and we need them faster.”

“The challenge, I said to the G-7 leaders, was that to truly end the pandemic, our goal must be to vaccinate at least 70% of the world’s population by the time the G-7 meets again in Germany next year,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters Saturday at the summit in southwest England.

“To do that, we need 11 billion doses,” Tedros said, adding that it was “essential” for countries to temporarily waive intellectual property protections for coronavirus vaccines.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson the summit’s host, has said the group would pledge at least 1 billion doses, with half that number coming from the United States and 100 million from Britain over the next year.

Tedros reiterated his target of vaccinating 30% of the population of every country by the end of 2021. He said that reaching the goal requires 100 million doses in June and July, and 250 million more by September.

FALMOUTH, England — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife, Carrie, have welcomed leaders from South Korea, Australia and South Africa, as well as the secretary-general of the United Nations, to the Group of Seven summit taking place on the coast of southwestern England.

The leaders elbow-bumped and posed for photos Saturday on a pristine beach in Cornwall.

The G-7 nations are the U.K., the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan. The British government said the guest nations were invited to take part in the summit as part of Johnson’s “Global Britain” agenda and that the expanded group can help the G-7 “intensify cooperation between the world’s democratic and technologically advanced nations.”

India was also invited, but its delegation is not attending in person because of the severe coronavirus outbreak in the country.

The leaders, whose 3-day summit is scheduled to end on Sunday, are expected to commit to a new plan, called the “Carbis Bay Declaration,” to quash future pandemics within the first 100 days.

NEWLYN, England — U.S. first lady Jill Biden met Saturday with members of an organization that teaches surfing to military veterans, first responders and their families.

Biden told members of Bude Surf Veterans that she had a white longboard of her own with a big butterfly on it. She met with them at a picnic table outside a contemporary art gallery overlooking Mount’s Bay as President Joe Biden attended the Group of Seven summit in southwest England.

Jill Biden observed that that the “water is so calming” and spoke about attending the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women founded by Britain’s Prince Harry. She added that she has yet to visit New Zealand and Australia.

___

CARBIS BAY, England — French President Emmanuel Macron says it’s good that U.S. President Joe Biden is able to lead through cooperation, adding that the United States is “definitely” back as Europe’s partner.

Biden and Macron met Saturday as part of the Group of Seven summit in southwest England, where they and other leaders of the world’s wealthy democracies are discussing the coronavirus pandemic, the environment, national security, relations with China and economic issues.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump took an adversarial approach with NATO allies, but Macron said Biden has shown that “leadership is partnership.”

The desire for cooperation cuts both ways. Biden described the European Union as “incredibly strong and vibrant,” which he said not only helps with tackling economic challenges but also provides a backbone for NATO.

___

BERLIN — German Chancellor Angela Merkel and U.S. President Joe Biden have met on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in England.

A spokesman for the German chancellor tweeted two pictures of the leaders sitting at a table in Carbis Bay on Saturday.

“At noontime on the second day of the G7 summit the chancellor talked to U.S. President Biden in between the work meetings,” read the caption accompanying the photos.

Merkel spokesman Steffen Seibert didn’t give any details about what the two discussed.

Merkel, who is leaving office later this year, plans to visit Biden in Washington next month. The president invited her to the White House earlier this week.

___

FALMOUTH, England — Hundreds of environmental protesters took to the Cornish seaside Saturday morning in a bid to draw the attention of world leaders and the international media outlets that have descended on southwest England for the G-7 summit.

Some protesters paddled out to sea, while others sunbathed on the beach wearing masks of leaders’ faces.

A crowd of surfers, kayakers and swimmers gathered Saturday on a beach in Falmouth for a mass “paddle out protest” organized by the group Surfers Against Sewage, which is campaigning for more action to protect oceans.

U.S. President Joe Biden and fellow leaders from the Group of Seven wealthy democracies are meeting near the town of St. Ives for talks focusing on the pandemic and climate change.

Earlier, activists from Oxfam assembled on Falmouth beach to protest climate change and put on masks depicting the leaders attending the G-7 summit.

Max Lawson, Oxfam’s head of policy, said activists want the G-7 countries – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the U.K. and the United States – to commit to bigger reductions in carbon emissions and to financing to help poor countries adapt to the impacts of climate change.

CARBIS BAY, England — The White House says President Joe Biden will hold a solo news conference after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The two delegations will have a working session and smaller session as part of their meeting on Wednesday in the Swiss city of Geneva. But the White House says it is still finalizing the format of the meeting.

The White House says a news conference with only Biden is the appropriate format to communicate the topics discussed, areas of agreement and sources of significant concern.

FALMOUTH, England — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has held meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of a G-7 summit, as post-Brexit turbulence strains relations between Britain and the EU.

Johnson also met the bloc’s leaders, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel, on Saturday at the Carbis Bay resort where G-7 leaders are gathering.

The two sides are locked in an escalating diplomatic feud over Northern Ireland, the only part of the U.K. that has a land border with the bloc. The EU is angry at British delay in implementing new checks on some goods coming into Northern Ireland from the rest of the U.K., while Britain says the checks are imposing a big burden on businesses and destabilizing Northern Ireland’s hard-won peace.

The spat has drawn in U.S. President Joe Biden, concerned about the potential threat to Northern Ireland’s peace accord.

The EU is threatening legal action if the U.K. does not fully bring in the checks, which include a ban on chilled meats such as sausages from England, Scotland and Wales going to Northern Ireland from next month.

Britain accuses the bloc of taking a “purist” approach to the rules and urged it to be more flexible in order to avoid what has been dubbed a “sausage war.”

___

FALMOUTH, England — U.S First Lady Jill Biden and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, have written a joint article on the importance of early childhood education after their visit to a primary school on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in England.

The two women met for the first time Friday at a school in Cornwall, southwestern England, where they visited 4 and 5-year-olds and spoke with experts on early childhood development.

In their article, published on the CNN website Saturday, they said the disruption of the pandemic has helped people focus on the things that matter most, and they have a joint belief that the future must include a “fundamental shift in how our countries approach the earliest years of life.”

“If we care about how children perform at school, how they succeed in their careers when they are older, and about their lifelong mental and physical health, then we have to care about how we are nurturing their brains, their experiences and relationships in the early years before school,” they wrote.

They said business leaders, among others, should give more support to the parents and caregivers in their workforces.

“If we want strong economies and strong societies, we need to make sure that those raising and caring for children get the support they need,” they added.

Biden is a longtime English teacher who focuses on education, a passion she shares with Kate, a mother of three young children.

Why are Americans Forced to Believe in Extraterrestrial Civilizations?

UFO34511

Although during the previous century the West actively inflated the supposedly unlimited power of Communist ideology in the USSR, and other countries in the socialist community, it still preferred to remain silent about its own ideological influence on the masses in the United States, or in its Western allies.

Moreover, the West has long understood that it is easier to control the masses with an ideology calculated to influence them than using what is essentially elitist science, which the masses are not able to understand. By entering the arena with the masses, ideology gains an advantage in the struggle for power, and therefore those who developed the ideology, filling orders that are put in by the ruling elite, seek to adjust the ideology being promoted in the country to fit these attitudes. Ideology is not a religion, although it still strives to instill a down-to-earth faith in the masses in which various ideas, rulers, or material idols (say, the “golden calf”, or extraterrestrial intelligence) are put in God’s place. Ideology has philosophical roots, and Plato can be considered as its forerunner: even the term “idea” itself comes from Democritus and Plato.

The media, civil society institutions, and propaganda all play a significant role in the process of the influence that ideology has on society. Their diversity, maturity, and consolidation enable formulating and upholding the interests held by the “customers of the ideology”. Reinforcing faith in various ideologies is very often done by spreading a “wave of fear” to show, especially during critical moments in the development of society, “the importance of supporting the current regime” and that supposedly only it is able to defeat the “threat” or fear.

Hence, it is not surprising that during periods of social or financial crises in the West, to deflect the masses from staging anti-government riots, a certain ideology is thrown at them, and at the same time that is reinforced with “overarching fear”. That is why, during periods of crisis, “horror stories”, such as “a deadly comet is approaching the Earth”, or the expected explosion of a volcano, the danger of flooding, etc. suddenly arise. These “horror stories” periodically change, as do other “centers of the limelight”, to manipulate them and switch public consciousness from certain ones to others.

And today, when various American media outlets, politicians and scientists, and even Vice President Harris, are talking about the collapse of the United States, and Americans, as Bloomberg writes, are suffering from an invasion of rats and other parasites in New York high-rise buildings falling apart from time and mold, the topic of UFOs has been unfurled to divert the spotlight the US population is focused on.  Moreover, based on the results of widespread lunacy about UFOs and flying saucers, YouGov and a number of other companies conduct regular public opinion polls, which allow those initiating this campaign to adjust their actions in real time. Consequently, it can be observed firsthand that recently the passion held by Americans for UFOs, and their fascination with them, has increased even more. This is especially true in anticipation of the release of a government report, whose preparation involved bringing in government agencies and the American intelligence services, and for which significant financial resources were “allocated”. An unclassified version of this report is due to be released by June 25, and will be presented to Congress.

However, according to available data, American intelligence services have not yet found any evidence of alien technology in the incidents when UFOs allegedly appeared. Nonetheless, this did not prevent the “experts”, taking into account the long-term orders from the country’s ruling elite to stir up Russophobia and Sinophobia, from putting forth the assumption that “some objects may be new images of Russian and Chinese technology”, and by doing so unleash an information campaign on top of that about a “foreign threat of the United States from its enemies”.

Like an avalanche, this topic of “the use of UFOs by enemies” began to be actively promoted not only in the United States, but also in “satellite countries”. Articles that are clearly paid for, such as those published by the British Daily Star, began to appear through media outlets that are completely controlled: “Vladimir Putin is behind the pyramidal UFOs swarming over a US Navy ship, says ex-senator”, where former US Senator Harry Reid, well-known for his overt dislike of Russia, draws his own conclusions.

And now, knowing full well that the topic of UFOs, besides its effect of spreading propaganda and offering a distraction, can be successfully used to obtain and siphon off government funding, Great Britain has already started to think about creating a “UFO hunter squad”, which The Telegraph gleefully reported about, citing its sources in the country’s Ministry of Defense. According to The Telegraph, this British “squad” is ready to assemble next month, but they are asking their American colleagues to provide convincing evidence that UFOs exist.

As far as the American intelligence services go, after successfully “spending” millions of dollars on the investigation, they were forced to admit that they did not find any evidence that the aerial phenomena that pilots for the US Navy have witnessed in recent years are alien spaceships. At the same time, the New York Times recalls how from 2007 to 2012 the US Department of Defense collected detailed reports on UFOs as part of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, and last year the Pentagon relaunched the program as the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. But at the same time it is well known, and not only in the United States, that in terms of “siphoning off funds allocated from the budget,” American intelligence services and the Pentagon can outperform anyone at all.

Regarding the disputes initiated by the American propaganda ideological machine surrounding UFOs and flying saucers in the United States, it is impossible to take them seriously. Unless one were to consider this whole “spectacle” to be just another evaluative factor in how inadequate American leadership is.

Israel to swear in government, ending Netanyahu’s long rule

Israel is set to swear in a new government on Sunday that will send Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into the opposition after a record 12 years in office and a political crisis that sparked four elections in two years.

Naftali Bennett the head of a small ultranationalist party, will take over as prime minister.

The driving force behind the coalition is Yair Lapid a political centrist who will become prime minister in two years, if the government lasts that long.

Russian MP Ilya Mitelman hid Israeli citizenship, business interests

Russian MP Ilya Mitelman.

By Compromat.group
June 11, 2021
Translated from the Russian

Russian deputy and part-time citizen of Israel (or, more precisely, an Israeli citizen and part-time Russian deputy) Ilya Mitelman not only did not declare an apartment in the elite area of Tel Aviv for $1.8 million but also used foreign ones prohibited for Russian parliamentarians to buy as financial instruments, namely opening a foreign account for obtaining a loan in the Israeli Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank for 2,200,000 shekels with a monthly payment of 17,300 shekels, that is, almost 400,000 rubles.

To the deputy of the Chelyabinsk City Duma, Ilya Mitelman, who was going to become a deputy of the State Duma, but was kicked out of the primaries, we devoted a separate large investigation. In this article, we described in detail how this parliamentarian hid his Israeli citizenship, Israeli business interests with an Israeli mother-in-law, an undeclared Israeli apartment in downtown Tel Aviv for $1.8 million, an Israeli mortgage, and an undeclared foreign bank account.

But we deliberately kept some information. Well, since Mr. Mitelman tried to sue us using dishonest methods (which, however, did not help him—the trial in case No. 2-2850 / 2021 – M-1614/2021, which was considered in the Kalininsky District Court of Chelyabinsk, he lost) decided to publish also classified information about the family account of the Mitelman couple in the Israeli Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank (registration number 520000052). We emphasize that for dishonest methods of litigation, we will continue to spread information about the identity of this deputy.

As Ilya Mitelman asked Israeli bankers for a shekel

So, on September 17, 2018, Ilya Mitelman, together with his wife Melanie Mitelman (nee Alberta Izmailova, then Melanie Korman), opened an account number 4310-28-298 in Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank for obtaining a mortgage loan. The mortgage was issued according to act 1023/2019/3 at the Mizrahi branch of bank No. 252 in the city of Ramat Gan. Now this mortgage case is kept in the central office of the bank, located in Tel Aviv at 123 Hashmonaim Street. The main borrower is Melanie, the guarantor is Ilya Mitelman.

They chose a not sickly apartment—132.5 sq. m and in one of the most expensive areas of Tel Aviv—Tel Aviv-Jaffa, on Michael Neeman Street, at 14. The cost of such housing is about $1.8 million. MP Mitelman decided to take out almost half of this amount on credit.

The Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank mortgage loan taken by the Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank totaled NIS 2,200,000 (about $700,000). The monthly payment on this loan is 17,300 shekels ($ 5,300, or about 400,000 rubles). That is, for a mortgage, Deputy Mitelman monthly unfastens 10 average Russian salaries in Israel.

To date, the amount of debt has decreased to 1,871,500 shekels ($576,000).

Interestingly, a loan in Israel is not taken as in Russia—in a single package, but is divided into several parts. The documents in our possession indicate that the Mitelmans took:

  • 748,000 shekels for 10 years at a constant interest rate (4.07% per year). Payments are due until October 2028. To date, the loan balance is 605,900 shekels.
  • 617,000 shekels for 15 years at prime interest (1.4% per year). Payments end in October 2033.
  • 648,000 shekels for 15 years at variable interest (2.36% per year). The deadline is until October 2033.

Twice violator of anti-corruption laws

And everything would be fine—as they say, any whim for your money—but Ilya Semyonovich, equipping a nest for his family in Israel, twice violated the anti-corruption legislation of Russia. Firstly, he did not declare an Israeli apartment, although he was obliged to do so, and then began to get out, referring to some “technical bugs” on the official website of the City Duma of Chelyabinsk.

However, not everything is in order in the revised declaration either: instead of an apartment with an area of 132.5 squared metres, Deputy Mitelman pointed out a certain “condominium” of an incomprehensible area. What, again a “technical error”!

And secondly, Ilya Mitelman violated the ban on the use of foreign financial instruments, which include credit lines of foreign banks. Recall that in accordance with clause 1.1 of Art. 2 of Federal Law No. 79-FZ of May 7, 2013, signed by President Vladimir Putin, deputies holding positions in the representative bodies of city districts are prohibited from opening and having accounts (deposits), keeping cash and valuables in foreign banks located outside the territory Of the Russian Federation, own and (or) use foreign financial instruments.

Ilya Semyonovich will clearly not be able to explain the use of credit funds by Israeli bankers by a “technical error.” This means that with the proper work of the supervisory authorities (primarily the regional prosecutor’s office, headed by the new regional prosecutor Karen Gabrielyan, who replaced the corrupt official Vitaly Lopin), Ilya Mitelman must leave the City Duma of Chelyabinsk.

This article is an official appeal to the power structures and supervisory authorities, in particular – to the new prosecutor of the Chelyabinsk region.

US President Joe Biden to meet Vladimir Putin in Geneva on Wednesday

Russian leader Vladimir Putin says new US President Joe Biden is radically different from his predecessor Donald Trump.

The two leaders will meet in Geneva on Wednesday, fresh off the back of Biden’s participation in the G7 summit in the UK.

The meeting will be the pair’s first since Biden was elected last November and comes at a time when relations between the two countries are strained.

Ahead of the summit, President Putin gave an exclusive interview to US broadcaster NBC.

“We have a bilateral relationship that has deteriorated to its lowest point in recent years,” explained Putin. “President Biden, of course, is radically different from Trump because President Biden is a career man. He has spent virtually his entire adulthood in politics. Just think of the number of years he spent in the Senate, a different kind of person. And it is my great hope that, yes, there are some advantages, some disadvantages, but there will not be any impulse-based movements on behalf of this sitting US president.”

The meeting will take place in an 18th-century manor house in a public park that looks out onto Geneva’s famous lake.

The White House has played down expectations for the summit and said Biden plans to raise Ukraine, arms control, human rights, and cyber ransomware attacks with Putin.

There are no plans for a joint press conference after the talks.
