Native water protectors in Minnesota are waging a battle against the Line 3 pipeline construction which violates their treaties and threatens the environment.
A native-led battle for the environment is being waged in Minnesota. On June 7, water protectors from the territories of the Anishinaabe tribes — which include members of the Odawa, Ojibwe, Potawatomi, Oji-Cree, Saulteaux, and Algonquin peoples — and their allies set up blockades to delay the construction of the Line 3 tar sands pipeline currently being built from Alberta, Canada to Superior, Wisconsin.
Enbridge plans to use the pipeline to carry tar sands oil, one of the dirtiest types of fossil fuels. A Line 3 spill would threaten sensitive watersheds and traditional rice habitats in the region. Even without that environmental threat, however, the construction has already been terrorizing native communities: with the advent of construction camps and their workers, there has been an increase in sexual violence against the local native women.
The water protectors’ actions on June 7 and the days since have been peaceful, but the activists are uncompromising in their defense of the land. Several hundred people showed up on the first day of protests and blocked public roads with their own bodies, even placing a boat in one road leading to a construction site. Dozens of protesters also locked themselves to the boat and to Enbridge equipment at the construction site. It took the cops two days to “free” the equipment of protesters.
At first, the cops were somewhat passive in their repression, not having expected and prepared for so many protesters. But it did not take the cops long to become more aggressive. More than 100 protesters were arrested in the first few days of actions. At certain points cops used sonic weapons against the protesters, and a Department of Homeland Security helicopter flew close to the ground and swarmed protesters with clouds of dirt.
This violence succeeded at scuttling some of the more militant resistance to the pipeline, but the fight is far from over. Thousands of protesters have set up an encampment (Camp Fire Light) at a location near where the pipeline is slated to cross the Mississippi River sometime during its construction.
Though the Biden administration claims to take seriously the threat of fossil fuels, it has thus far ignored the protesters’ calls for an end to the pipeline construction. This should not be a surprise. The most famous native-led pipeline protest in recent history was the one at Standing Rock in North Dakota, which took place during the Obama/Biden administration. The Democrats in the White House then took no stand to defend the protesters, even when riot cops sprayed them with freezing water cannons, tear gas, and various other “less-than-lethal” munitions. Some activists involved in the protests now have cancer, possibly from the use of a crop duster at the protests, which sprayed activists with chemicals.
The water protectors in Minnesota likely have a long and difficult battle ahead. Their protests matter far beyond the native communities. All workers are affected by the destruction of the environment through capitalism’s extraction of fossil fuels.
Those seeking to shut down Line 3 before further destruction can be done deserve our full solidarity.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Vice President Kamala Harris has been hit with a possibly lethal dose of laugh gas, most likely at the hands of the Gotham supervillain the Joker. Harris was spotted having a fit of uncontrolled laughter — horrifying everyone around her — a sure sign of the toxic gas the Clown Prince of Crime is known for.
Medics are at the scene trying to calm Harris down, but she is unresponsive, simply laughing in everyone’s faces. And the area has been cleared in case the Joker is still nearby and could dose someone else. We will keep you updated as more about Harris’s condition is known and for any more information of what could be the Joker’s next target.
UPDATE: It was a false alarm. Harris has not been dosed with the Joker’s laughing gas at all. A reporter asked her about the horrible conditions at the border and the number of children locked up there, and that question is what caused her to lapse into a hysterical fit of laughter. Though frightening, her staff assures everyone that is perfectly normal for her.
As for the Joker, he is currently locked away in Arkham Asylum where he assuredly will spend the rest of his life and never bother us again.

Russian lovers of adult content could soon be forced to ask their government for permission before they can access saucy snaps and spicy clips online, with a public services portal acting as the gateway to all legal pornography.
The new proposals, from Moscow’s General Radio Frequency Centre, a subsidiary of state media watchdog Roskomnadzor, would see X-rated material shuttered away in an adults-only area on the internet. All pornography would be categorized as either ‘illegal’ or ‘not prohibited by law’.
While banned pornography would include that featuring minors and depicting “clearly offensive” themes such as rape, permitted pictures and videos would be “naturalistic images or descriptions of the genitals of an adult and / or sexual intercourse or comparable sexual activity of a sexual nature involving adults with their consent.”
But while that might sound too tantalizing to pass up, only those over the age of 18 would be able to access the content, having to sign in through a state-run public services portal before feasting their eyes on the trove.
Roman Korostashov, acting head of the Scientific and Technical Center at the General Radio Frequency Centre, said the plans were a no-brainer. “Our main task is to protect children from destructive content,” he said, emphasizing that cracking down on illegal online material was one of the group’s main focuses.
It is, however, unclear whose job it would be to trawl the depths of the web and decide which porn falls into which category. Equally unclear is how it would work in practice, given the widespread availability of proxy servers that allow net users to access pretty much whatever they want.
Last week, Roskomnadzor warned that major tech giants including Facebook, Twitter, and Google are continuing to host shocking illegal material online, despite thousands of requests from its officials to take down prohibited posts. According to them, more than 10,000 banned posts are still up, including “child pornography, suicidal and pro-narcotic content, the involvement of minors in illegal activities and illegal mass events,” as well as “materials from extremist and terrorist organizations.”
At the start of the year, President Vladimir Putin warned that companies were taking too relaxed an attitude to protecting the public. “These platforms are, of course, primarily businesses,” he said, “and what is the primary concern of a business? Making a profit. They don’t care if this content or that content causes harm for the people at whom it is directed.”
At the same time, Putin said, “we must not make decisions that would limit human freedoms – the freedom of choice and freedom of speech.”
We applaud this move by Russia, according to studies, porn is bad not just for children but for men’s mental health as well so any move against porn, GREAT! Cheers to Russia for this.
Aaron Ramsey scored the first goal to give Wales a 2-0 victory over Turkey at the European Championship.

Archaeologists agree, Gōbekli Tepe changes everything. This hilltop sanctuary in southern Turkey, probably the world’s first megalithic temple, is like a time capsule dating back to nearly 13, 000 years to the most extraordinary time in human history; the Younger Dryas impact event. Pillar 43, also called the ‘Vulture Stone’, at Gōbekli Tepe is especially important, as it reveals a forgotten astronomical code that opens a window into the minds of ancient people, going back perhaps over 40,000 years. A code that allows one to read about catastrophic events, like the Younger Dryas impact, that perhaps formed the corner stone of nearly all the world’s religions. It could hardly be a more important discovery.
Pillar 43 is like a prehistoric Rosetta Stone. It shows that the people who constructed Gōbekli Tepe were, among other things, astronomers who understood how the position of the stars changed very slowly over many millennia, a process now called ‘precession of the equinoxes’. Conventionally, Hipparchus of Ancient Greece is credited with this discovery in the second century BC. Furthermore, the people of Gōbekli Tepe used their astronomical knowledge to encode a date, very likely the date of the Younger Dryas impact, on the pillar. Essentially, Pillar 43 can be interpreted as a memorial to this catastrophic event, which potentially sparked the origin of civilization itself.
While this discovery is profound, by uncovering this ancient astronomical code one is able to decode much more than just Gōbekli Tepe. This is because it appears it was used for many tens of thousands of years across Europe and the Near East, from ancient prehistoric times right through to the first millennium AD in Pictish Scotland. It seems to cover a quite incredible span of time and geographic boundaries.
Indeed, it appears to be the key to understanding Palaeolithic cave art, Neolithic shrines, Bronze Age artworks, Egyptian Gods, and Iron Age symbolism. Amazingly, it seems this astronomical code uses the same set of star constellations, more-or-less, that is used today in the West, although most of the animal symbols corresponding to each constellation have changed.

The journey of the evolution of this code, covering examples from the earliest of times right through to the last known case, Pictish symbols stones, is remarkable.

On Saturday, June 12, a call titled “Statement of Repentance and Hope” was shared via email and social media to hundreds of Palestinian Christian leaders and clergy. The call states: “This statement was written with urgency by Palestinian Christian young adults from all across the land, expressing repentance and hope regarding the ongoing injustices. If you identify with this statement, it is yours to hold as well. We urge all to read and reflect seriously on its call.”
The call was initiated by the Christ at the Checkpoint Young Adult group (which I am a member of) and which is an offshoot of the Christ at the Checkpoint Conference which takes place every two years in Bethlehem. The conference has inspired many young adults to cultivate a Palestinian Christian response to the conflict, colonialism and in particular Christian Zionism.
A call to action
The statement (attached below) calls for the Palestinian Christian community and leadership to reflect and repent on what has been an inadequate and passive response to the injustices committed against the Palestinian people over the past two months. We have seen lukewarm statements, calls for calm, and vague prayers for peace. These are not only insufficient but contradictory to Biblical passages calling to stand with the oppressed.
The statement also calls for non-violent action and resistance to these injustices. Much of Palestinian Christian activism has been too focused on behind-the-desk activities with a Western focus. We need to back up our books, teachings, statements and most importantly principles with action.
Furthermore, there is a special focus on combating the “tribal mentality” that has plagued Palestinian society; including the Christian community. As Palestinians draw on their diverse sources of inspiration to call for justice, we must stop isolating ourselves in bubbles and do so in unity. Lastly, the statement ends with eight calls to action in order to move forward.
Inspired by Black liberation theology
Many of the up and coming Palestinian Christian theologians and activists have been studying Black Liberation Theology (in particular James Cone’s God of the Oppressed) and have come to the conclusion that we need to radically rethink how we engage the oppressive colonial system we are under. This, combined with the overall inaction and passivity, has been the main catalyst for the young people to speak out and attempt to invoke some type of change.
Just as the Civil Rights movement had a strong Christian presence in its resistance to racial supremacism; we must find it as well in the Palestinian context. There is a lot to say about comparing and contrasting these two different situations, but the bottom line is that young Palestinian Christians have a new understanding of their situation and the need to shake off the shackles of Western theology and influences which are meant to pacify our people.
Lastly, young Palestinian Christian voices that have been publicly critical of our leadership have been censored and threatened. Two young women (one of which is my wife) have written two articles criticizing the tribal mentality and inaction of Evangelical churches across the land. Their articles were taken off Facebook pages and my wife was threatened with legal action by one of the main pastors. The silencing of these women was reprehensible and was a major motivation to speak louder.
Time to unite and strategize
To our knowledge, no one within our community has ever produced a statement like this. Public self-critical statements are unusual here and will likely cause a lot of negative reactions. This could stir some in our community from their slumber and create conversations about our role in this conflict. Demographically, we are a tiny portion of the population in this land, yet one could argue that the Palestinian Christian’s influence internally and externally is huge. Are we using our full potential?
Furthermore, if we are expecting the international community to end the Occupation and discrimination in this land for us, we are sadly mistaken. It is time for us to unite together, rethink our approach to this conflict and rebuild our strategy. We must also break the tribalist mentality, regardless of how others treat us, and stand strong with our convictions.
Our ultimate desire is to ignite some hope for those that read that statement and agree with it and challenge those that are complicit with our passivity. We are a small group of people but we are inspired by the new awakening that is taking place across Palestinian society and we hope to make a small contribution to it.
Statement of Repentance and Hope
“Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps. But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5 : 23-24)
We Palestinian Christian young adults from the 48 territories, Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza; cannot remain silent with what is happening in our community. Based on our understanding of our spiritual, ethical and national responsibilities, we declare the following:
First, we acknowledge our guilt and repent our own passivity, inaction and lack of solidarity with those that have suffered the worst from the colonial repression in recent events and throughout the years. We have failed in being salt and light in the land, and therefore repent our transgressions through commitment to action. Those who hold positions of power within our community have demonstrated significant shortcomings in their statements and actions regarding the continued injustices committed against Palestinians: in Jerusalem, Gaza, the West Bank, against refugees and 48 Palestinians.
Second, while we are non-violent and detest the suffering of all innocents; we refuse to fall into the trap of equating the violence and dominance perpetrated by the system, and the violence of the oppressed reacting to the system. Not taking a firm, honest stance against unjust systems and trying to adopt neutrality by simply condemning all violence, is either a statement of ignorance or wilful support of the powerful.
Third, we have prayed for peace, calmness, and patience; however, we must recognize that peace cannot exist without true justice. Therefore, while we recognize the importance of prayer, it mustn’t call for peace which returns to a status quo of inequality, but for a transformative peace which recognizes the intrinsic connection between peace and justice and leads to true reconciliation.
Fourth, the anger of the Palestinian people is a holy rage- a righteous anger (Ephesians 4:26-27), that shakes off (intifada) the yoke of oppression in the form of Apartheid, settler-colonialism and oppression of all Palestinian people. Our political leadership and those in power are complicit in this oppression and have served the powerful directly and indirectly. Jesus is present today with Palestinians who are suffering all over the land and resisting their oppression (Matthew 25:31-46).
Fifth, we must stand up for our own dignity and the dignity of those we share our lives and pain with, whose blood cries out from the ground. This is a time of nonviolent resistance through action which will bear witness to the God of the oppressed built on the Palestinian tradition of steadfastness (Sumud).
Sixth, we must be a praxis-oriented community which foregrounds a commitment to those who are voiceless and oppressed; Our statements, theological books, and sermons must be rooted in the reality of our context and they are only validated by further action, otherwise they are empty.
Seventh, we must stop with our tribal mentality, which attempts to isolate ourselves from our neighbors and the reality around us. We obsess over in-fighting for power, status, and money which we must be prepared to lose, as disciples of Jesus and for the Kingdom of God. Our tribal mentality is used by our oppressors and we must unite in solidarity with one another (John 17:21).
Lastly, we are embarking on a new chapter where hope through resistance (Muqawama) is present and violence perpetrated by our oppressors is becoming more brutal. Palestinians across the land are standing up for their own humanity despite being lynched, bombed and displaced. The fragmentation of Palestinians in the Occupied Territories, Jerusalem, 48 territories, and the diaspora is dissolving, and a renewed sense of unity is emerging.
Therefore, we call urgently:
To repent for our shortcomings and inaction in the face of injustice. We commit to continued self-evaluation, and actions in order to truly voice the truth.
To immediately and honestly self-reflect on the general failures of our leaders, churches and community.
To raise and empower the voice of the younger generation on these issues, especially women. Failure to incorporate these voices and attempts to censor them will ultimately lead to empty churches and frail organizations. We will not stay silent.
To confront anti-Muslim attitudes and any other approach which excludes the other.
To decolonize our churches from Western money and influence that serve to pacify our community; especially Christian Zionism.
To firmly speak truth to power, including our own leadership.
To develop actions that battle the injustices committed against the most vulnerable in our society and a commitment to solidarity with the oppressed.
To unite together and with all those that seek a transformative peace that promotes justice.

هل بين القوى الكبرى من لم يستعمل الفيتو او يدّعي أنه لا يملكه، فكيف يفسر لنا إذن كيف استطاع فرض حصوله على مواقع سيادية في الدولة رئاسية ووزارية يعرف اللبنانيون أن الجميع فرض حضوره فيها بقوة الفيتو الطائفي، الذي لم يُستعمل ولا مرة، ولا مرة، لوقف السياسات المالية، ولا سياسات التوظيف والتلزيمات الانتخابية الهادفة لإعادة إنتاج النظام بالطريقة ذاتها التي يستخدمها الجميع مهما تحدث بعضهم عن تمايزه في الاختيارات الفردية لمرشحيه في التوظيف او لنظافة تعامله في التلزيمات، لأن هذا الجانب على أهميته لن يمنع وقوع الانهيار ولو تساوى فيه الجميع. فالانهيار نتاج انفجار بالون اللعبة الجهنمية، ديون بلا قدرة سداد تنفق على حماية سعر الصرف لرشوة الناس بمستوى معيشة وهميّ، ولإنفاق لا يخضع لحساب أولويّات صحيح في التوظيف والتلزيمات، وأين كان الفيتو الجاهز للاستعمال في فرض حصة رئاسية او وزارية وتعطيل البلد لشهور وسنوات طلباً له، والجاهز للاستعمال لرفض وفرض توظيفات بحساب طائفيّ أو حزبيّ في الطائفة، ولفرض حصص من التلزيمات تحت عنوان الإنماء المتوازن، وهو يعلم أن الإنماء خطة غير موجودة وليس موجوداً منها إلا حصصٌ انتخابية؟

الأرقام في لبنان وجهة نظر، فعندما يُحكى عن رقم 40 مليار دولار كلفة الكهرباء دون أن تحل أزمتها، ولا يقال إن الدولة تدفع كل سنة ملياري دولار لشراء الفيول، اي 40 مليار بعشرين سنة، لان أحداً لا يريد ان يعترف ان السبب، هو أن لا أحد، لا أحد بالمطلق، يريد تحمّل مسؤولية رفع التعرفة وتحسين الجباية لتصبح الكهرباء ذات جدوى اقتصادية، والاعتبار انتخابي تشارك فيه الجميع. وفي هذا يُظلم التيار الوطني الحر بتحميله وحده المسؤولية، لكن بالمقابل فإن التيار عندما يتحدّث عن فشل تحالفه مع حزب الله لأن الحزب وضع حساب وحدة الطائفة فوق السير بالإصلاح، يفعل الشيء نفسه الذي يلقي به الآخرون عليه بعبء مسؤولية ظلماً، فهل يمكن للتيار عندما يتحدّث عن معركته للإصلاح التي عطلها حزب الله بسبب أولوية الحزب الطائفية، أن يخبرنا متى حدث ذلك، في ظل الحكومة المشتركة بين التيار والرئيس سعد الحريري، وشهر العسل الناتج عن التسوية الرئاسية، أم في مرحلة اتفاق معراب الذي لا صفة له إلا السعي لوحدة الطائفة، أم بعد سقوط حكومة التسوية الرئاسية وقد دخلنا في الانهيار، وكان عنوان الثورة الملوّنة إسقاط التيار ووقف الحزب مدافعاً وفق معادلة العهد خط أحمر، طالما أنه يتحدث عن عهد الرئيس ميشال عون حصراً، لأنه قبل ذلك كان الحزب يستعمل حق الفيتو ليفرض حصة التيار الوزارية وصولاً لفرض رئاسة الجمهورية؟

Damascus – The Head of Hezbollah’s Arab and International Relations Unit, Sayyed Ammar al-Moussawi, said that a victorious Syria gives strength to the Arab and Islamic worlds, and that its great position in the July 2006 war made it the main partner of the Islamic resistance in Lebanon in all its victories.
This comes as a delegation from the Arab Islamic National Conference is visiting Damascus to meet with President Bashar Al-Assad and the Palestinian resistance factions.
Al-Moussawi explained that the purpose of the visit was for the delegation to congratulate Al-Assad on his re-election as leader of Syria and to congratulate the Syrian people for their “clear” victory in the uprising of consciousness, which they expressed so clearly at the ballot boxes.
In an exclusive interview with Al-Ahed News, the head of Arab and International Relations in Hezbollah pointed out that the popular turnout in the Syrian presidential elections at home was not strange because internal sentiments are known.
“Those who remained in Syria sided with the state, but the influential phenomenon was the Syrians abroad. This is an important and influential indicator, which is the culmination of all victories, including the military victory. It indicates that the Syrians are returning to build their state, which will be better, more beautiful, and stronger than before,” he confirmed.
Al-Moussawi pointed out that Syria has always been an incubator for resistance movements, “and Hezbollah considers it a partner in the victory that was achieved by the men of the Islamic Resistance in the July war and the rest of the victories such as the Resistance and Liberation Day in May 2000.”
Prior to the anniversary of the July 2006 war and the victory of the resistance, al-Moussawi recalled the role of Syria in supplying the resistance with various types of weapons, especially the Kornet missiles, which contributed to disabling the “Israeli” Merkava tanks in a way that was unseen in previous Arab-“Israeli” wars.
He also recalled how Syria embraced hundreds of thousands of Lebanese people who were displaced by the Zionist aggression machine in Lebanon in July 2006.
Al-Moussawi stressed that Syria was an incubator of Arab nationalism and all the issues of the nation, and that it will undoubtedly return to be a key link in the Axis of Resistance.
Canadian immunologist and vaccine researcher Byram Bridle, Ph.D., has gained access to Pfizer’s biodistribution study from the Japanese regulatory agency. The research, previously unseen, demonstrates a huge problem with all COVID-19 vaccines

The more we learn about the COVID-19 vaccines, the worse they look. In a recent interview with Alex Pierson (above), Canadian immunologist and vaccine researcher Byram Bridle, Ph.D., dropped a shocking truth bomb that immediately went viral, despite being censored by Google.
It also was featured in a “fact” check by The Poynter Institute’s Politifact,2 which pronounced Bridle’s findings as “false” after interviewing Dr. Drew Weissman,3 a UPenn scientist who is credited with helping to create the technology that enables the COVID mRNA vaccines to work. But, as you can see below, unlike Bridle, Politifact neglected to go beyond interviewing someone with such a huge stake in the vaccine’s success.
In 2020, Bridle was awarded a $230,000 government grant for research on COVID vaccine development. As part of that research, he and a team of international scientists requested a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) access to Pfizer’s biodistribution study from the Japanese regulatory agency. The research,4,5 previously unseen, demonstrates a huge problem with all COVID-19 vaccines.
“We made a big mistake,” Bridle says. “We thought the spike protein was a great target antigen; we never knew the spike protein itself was a toxin and was a pathogenic protein. So, by vaccinating people we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin.”
This toxin, Bridle notes, can cause cardiovascular damage and infertility — a claim echoed by researchers such as Stephanie Seneff, Ph.D., and Judy Mikovits, Ph.D., whom I’ve interviewed about these issues.
Pfizer Omitted Industry-Standard Safety Studies
What’s more, TrialSite News reports6 that Pfizer documents submitted to the European Medicines Agency [EMA] reveal the company “did not follow industry-standard quality management practices during preclinical toxicology studies … as key studies did not meet good laboratory practice (GLP).”
Neither reproductive toxicity nor genotoxicity (DNA mutation) studies were performed, both of which are considered critical when developing a new drug or vaccine for human use. The problems now surfacing matter greatly, as they significantly alter the risk-benefit analysis underlying the vaccines’ emergency use authorization. As reported by TrialSite News:7
“Recently, there has been speculation regarding potential safety signals associated with COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. Many different unusual, prolonged, or delayed reactions have been reported, and often these are more pronounced after the second shot.
Women have reported changes in menstruation after taking mRNA vaccines. Problems with blood clotting (coagulation) — which are also common during COVID-19 disease — are also reported. In the case of the Pfizer COVID mRNA vaccine, these newly revealed documents raise additional questions about both the genotoxicity and reproductive toxicity risks of this product.
Standard studies designed to assess these risks were not performed in compliance with accepted empirical research standards. Furthermore, in key studies designed to test whether the vaccine remains near the injection site or travels throughout the body, Pfizer did not even use the commercial vaccine (BNT162b2) but instead relied on a ‘surrogate’ mRNA producing the luciferase protein.
These new disclosures seem to indicate that the U.S. and other governments are conducting a massive vaccination program with an incompletely characterized experimental vaccine.
It is certainly understandable why the vaccine was rushed into use as an experimental product under emergency use authority, but these new findings suggest that routine quality testing issues were overlooked in the rush to authorize use.
People are now receiving injections with an mRNA gene therapy-based vaccine, which produces the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in their cells, and the vaccine may be also delivering the mRNA and producing spike protein in unintended organs and tissues (which may include ovaries).”
Toxic Spike Protein Enters Blood Circulation
The assumption that vaccine developers have been working with is that the mRNA in the vaccines (or DNA in the case of Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca’s vaccines) would primarily remain in and around the vaccination site, i.e., your deltoid muscle, with a small amount draining into local lymph nodes.8
Pfizer’s data, however, show this isn’t the case at all. Using mRNA programmed to produce luciferase protein, as well as mRNA tagged with a radioactive label, Pfizer showed that the majority of the mRNA initially remain near the injection site, but within hours become widely distributed within the body.9We have known for a long time that the spike protein is a pathogenic protein. It is a toxin. It can cause damage in our body if it gets into circulation. ~ Dr. Byram Bridle
The mRNA enters your bloodstream and accumulates in a variety of organs, primarily your spleen, bone marrow, liver, adrenal glands and, in women, the ovaries. The spike protein also travel to your heart, brain and lungs, where bleeding and or blood clots can occur as a result, and is expelled in breast milk.
This is a problem, because rather than instructing your muscle cells to produce the spike protein (the antigen that triggers antibody production), spike protein is actually being produced inside your blood vessel walls and various organs, where it can do a great deal of damage.
“It’s the first time ever scientists have been privy to seeing where these messenger RNA [mRNA] vaccines go after vaccination,” Bridle told Pierson.10
“Is it a safe assumption that it stays in the shoulder muscle? The short answer is: absolutely not. It’s very disconcerting … We have known for a long time that the spike protein is a pathogenic protein.
It is a toxin. It can cause damage in our body if it gets into circulation … The spike protein on its own is almost entirely responsible for the damage to the cardiovascular system, if it gets into circulation.”
The Spike Protein Is the Problem
Indeed, for many months, we’ve known that the worst symptoms of severe COVID-19, blood clotting problems in particular, are caused by the spike protein of the virus. As such, it seemed really risky to instruct the body’s cells to produce the very thing that causes severe problems.
Bridle cites research showing that laboratory animals injected with purified spike protein from SARS-CoV-2 straight into their bloodstream developed cardiovascular problems and brain damage.
Assuming that the spike protein would not enter into the circulatory system was a “grave mistake,” according to Bridle, who calls the Japanese data “clear-cut evidence” that the vaccine, and the spike protein produced by it, enters your bloodstream and accumulates in vital organs. Bridle also cites recent research showing the spike protein remained in the bloodstream of humans for 29 days.
Once in your blood circulation, the spike protein binds to platelet receptors and the cells that line your blood vessels. As explained by Bridle, when that happens, one of several things can occur:
It can cause platelets to clump together — Platelets, aka thrombocytes, are specialized cells in your blood that stop bleeding. When there’s blood vessel damage, they clump together to form a blood clot. This is why we’ve been seeing clotting disorders associated with both COVID-19 and the vaccines
It can cause abnormal bleeding
In your heart, it can cause heart problems
In your brain, it can cause neurological damage
Importantly, people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 absolutely should not donate blood, seeing how the vaccine and the spike protein are both transferred. In fragile patients receiving the blood, the damage could be lethal.
Breastfeeding women also need to know that both the vaccine and the spike protein are being expelled in breast milk, and this could be lethal for their babies. You are not transferring antibodies. You are transferring the vaccine itself, as well as the spike protein, which could result in bleeding and/or blood clots in your child. All of this also suggests that for individuals who are at low risk for COVID-19, children and teens in particular, the risks of these vaccines far outweigh the benefits.
The Spike Protein and Blood Clotting
In related news, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick posted an article11 on his website June 3, 2021, in which he discusses the links between the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and vasculitis, a medical term referring to inflammation (“itis”) in your vascular system, which is made up of your heart and blood vessels.
There are many different types of vasculitis, including Kawasaki’s disease, antiphospholipid syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma and Sjogren’s disease. According to Kendrick, all of them have two things in common:12
1.Your body for some reason starts to attack the lining of your blood vessels, thereby causing damage and inflammation — The “why” can differ from one case to another, but in all cases, your immune system identifies something foreign in the lining of the blood vessel, causing it to attack. The attack causes damage to the lining, which results in inflammation.
Blood clots are a common result, and can occur either because the platelets clump together in response to the vessel wall damage, or because your anticlotting mechanism has been compromised. Your most powerful anticlotting system is your glycocalyx, the protective layer of glycoproteins that lines your blood vessels.
Among many other things, the glycocalyx contains a wide variety of anticoagulant factors, including tissue factor inhibitor, protein C, nitric oxide and antithrombin. It also modulates the adhesion of platelets to the endothelium. When blood clots completely block a blood vessel, you end up with a stroke or a heart attack.
A reduction in platelet count, known as thrombocytopenia, is a reliable sign that blood clots are forming in your system, as the platelets are being used up in the process. Thrombocytopenia is a commonly-reported side effect of COVID-19 vaccines, as are blood clots, strokes and lethal heart attacks — all of which are pointing toward spike proteins causing vascular damage.
2.They significantly increase your risk of death, in some cases raising mortality by 50 times compared to people who do not have these conditions.
The take-home message Kendrick delivers is that “If you damage the lining of blood vessel walls, blood clots are far more likely to form. Very often, the damage is caused by the immune system going on the attack, damaging blood vessel walls, and removing several of the anti-clotting mechanisms.” The end result can be lethal, and this chain of events is exactly what these COVID-19 vaccines are setting into motion.
SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein May Damage Mitochondrial Function
Other research suggests the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein can have a serious impact on your mitochondrial function, which is imperative for good health, innate immunity and disease prevention of all kinds.
When the spike protein interacts with the ACE2 receptor, it can disrupt mitochondrial signaling, thereby inducing the production of reactive oxygen species and oxidative stress. If the damage is serious enough, uncontrolled cell death can occur, which in turn leaks mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) into your bloodstream.13
Aside from being detected in cases involving acute tissue injury, heart attack and sepsis, freely circulating mtDNA has also been shown to contribute to a number of chronic diseases, including systemic inflammatory response syndrome or SIRS, heart disease, liver failure, HIV infection, rheumatoid arthritis and certain cancers.14 As explained in “COVID-19: A Mitochondrial Perspective”:15
“Apart from its role in energy production, mitochondria are crucial for … innate immunity, reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and apoptosis; all of these are important in COVID-19 pathogenesis. Dysfunctional mitochondria predispose to oxidative stress and loss of cellular function and vitality. In addition, mitochondrial damage leads to … inappropriate and persistent inflammation.
SARS coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) … enters cell by attaching to angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptors on cell surface … Following infection, there is internalization and downregulation of ACE2 receptors.
At vascular endothelium, ACE2 performs conversion of angiotensin II to angiotensin (1–7). Thus, a low ACE2 activity subsequent to SARS-CoV-2 infection leads to imbalance in renin-angiotensin system with relative excess of angiotensin II.
Angiotensin II through binding to its type 1 receptors exerts pro-inflammatory, vasoconstrictive, and prothrombotic effects, while angiotensin (1–7) has opposing effects … In addition, angiotensin II increases cytoplasmic and mitochondrial ROS generation leading to oxidative stress.
Increased oxidative stress may lead to endothelial dysfunction and aggravate systemic and local inflammation, thus contributing to acute lung injury, cytokine storm, and thrombosis seen in severe COVID-19 illness …
A recent algorithm showed that majority of SARS-CoV-2 genomic and structural RNAs are targeted for mitochondrial matrix. Thus it appears that SARS-CoV-2 hijacks mitochondrial machinery for its own benefit, including DMV biogenesis. Manipulation of mitochondria by virus may lead to mitochondrial dysfunction and increased oxidative stress ultimately leading to loss of mitochondrial integrity and cell death …
Mitochondrial fission enables removal of the damaged portion of a mitochondrion to be cleared by mitophagy (a special form of autophagy). Metabolomic studies suggest that SARS-CoV-2 inhibits mitophagy. Thus, there is accumulation of damaged and dysfunctional mitochondria. This not only leads to impaired MAVS [mitochondrial antiviral signaling] response but also aggravates inflammation and cell death.”
The author, Pankaj Prasun, points out that the virus’ impact on mitochondria helps explain why COVID-19 is so much deadlier for older people, the obese, and those with diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.
All of these risk factors have something in common: They’re all associated with mitochondrial dysfunction. If your mitochondria are already dysfunctional, the SARS-CoV-2 virus can more easily knock out more mitochondria, resulting in severe illness and death.
The Spike Protein Is a Bioweapon
In my interview with Seneff and Mikovits (see earlier hyperlink), they both stressed that the key danger — both in COVID-19 and with the vaccines — is the spike protein itself. However, while the spike protein found in the virus is bad, the spike protein your body produces in response to the vaccine is far worse. Why?
Because the synthetic mRNA in the vaccine has been programmed to instruct your cells to produce an unnatural, genetically engineered spike protein. Specific alterations make it far more toxic than that found on the virus itself. Mikovits goes so far as to call the spike protein a bioweapon, as it is a disease-causing agent that demolishes innate immunity and exhausts your natural killer (NK) cells’ ability to determine which cells are infected and which aren’t.
In short, when you get the COVID-19 vaccine, you are being injected with an agent that instructs your body to produce the bioweapon in its own cells. This is about as diabolical as it gets.
In her paper, “Worse Than The Disease: Reviewing Some Possible Unintended Consequences of mRNA Vaccines Against COVID-19,” published in the International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice and Research in collaboration with Dr. Greg Nigh,16 Seneff explains why the unnatural spike protein is so problematic.
In summary, normally, the spike protein on a virus will collapse on itself and fall into the cell once it attaches to the ACE2 receptor. The vaccine-induced spike protein does not do this. Instead it stays open and remains attached to the ACE2 receptor, thereby disabling it and causing a host of problems that lead to heart, lung and immune impairment.
What’s more, because the RNA code has been enriched with extra guanines (Gs) and cytosines (Cs), and configured as if it’s a human messenger RNA molecule ready to make protein by adding a polyA tail, the spike protein’s RNA sequence in the vaccine looks as if it is part bacteria,17 part human18 and part viral at the same time.
There’s also evidence suggesting the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein may be a prion, which is yet another piece of really bad news, particularly as it pertains to vaccine-induced spike protein. Prions are membrane proteins and when they misfold, they form crystals in the cytoplasm resulting in prion disease.
Since the mRNA in the vaccines has been modified to spew out very high amounts of spike protein (far greater than that of the actual virus), the risk of excessive buildup in the cytoplasm is high. And, since the spike protein doesn’t enter into the membrane of the cell, there’s a high risk that it can become problematic if indeed it works like a prion.
Remember, the research cited by Bridle at the beginning of this article found the spike protein accumulates in the spleen, among other places. Parkinson’s disease is a prion disease that has been traced back to prions originating in the spleen, that then travel up to the brain via the vagus nerve. In the same way, it’s quite possible COVID-19 vaccines may promote Parkinson’s and other human prion diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
What Are the Solutions?
While all of this is highly problematic, there is help. As noted by Mikovits, remedies to the maladies that might develop post-vaccination include:
Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin treatments. Ivermectin appears particularly promising as it actually binds to the spike protein. Please listen to the interview that Brett Weinstein did with Dr. Pierre Kory,19 one of Dr. Paul Marik’s collaborators
Low-dose antiretroviral therapy to reeducate your immune system
Low-dose interferons such as Paximune, developed by interferon researcher Dr. Joe Cummins, to stimulate your immune system
Peptide T (an HIV entry inhibitor derived from the HIV envelope protein gp120; it blocks binding and infection of viruses that use the CCR5 receptor to infect cells)
Cannabis, to strengthen Type I interferon pathways
Dimethylglycine or betaine (trimethylglycine) to enhance methylation, thereby suppressing latent viruses
Silymarin or milk thistle to help cleanse your liver
From my perspective, I believe the best thing you can do is to build your innate immune system. To do that, you need to become metabolically flexible and optimize your diet. You’ll also want to make sure your vitamin D level is optimized to between 60 ng/mL and 80 ng/mL (100 nmol/L to 150 nmol/L), ideally through sensible sun exposure. Sunlight also has other benefits besides making vitamin D.
Use time-restricted eating and eat all your meals for the day within a six- to eight-hour window. Avoid all vegetable oils and processed foods. Focus on certified-organic foods to minimize your glyphosate exposure, and include plenty of sulfur-rich foods to keep your mitochondria and lysosomes healthy. Both are important for the clearing of cellular debris, including these spike proteins. You can also boost your sulfate by taking Epsom salt baths.
To combat the toxicity of the spike protein, you’ll want to optimize autophagy, which may help digest and remove the spike proteins. Time-restricted eating will upregulate autophagy, while sauna therapy, which upregulates heat shock proteins, will help refold misfolded proteins and also tag damaged proteins and target them for removal. It is important that your sauna is hot enough (around 170 degrees Fahrenheit) and does not have high magnetic or electric fields.
The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) recently posted more than 50 video presentations from the pay-for-view Fifth International Public Conference on Vaccination held online October 16 to 18, 2020, and made them available to everyone for free.
The conference’s theme was “Protecting Health and Autonomy in the 21st Century” and it featured physicians, scientists and other health professionals, human rights activists, faith community leaders, constitutional and civil rights attorneys, authors and parents of vaccine injured children talking about vaccine science, policy, law and ethics and infectious diseases, including coronavirus and COVID-19 vaccines.
In December 2020, a U.K. company published false and misleading information about NVIC and its conference, which prompted NVIC to open up the whole conference for free viewing. The conference has everything you need to educate yourself and protect your personal freedoms and liberties with respect to your health.

A “Space Warfighting Operations R&D”—acronym “SWORD”—laboratory “will be working in the area of autonomy to enable space systems to automatically detect and respond to threat conditions faster than a human operator could achieve,” declared Colonel Eric Felt at its opening last month.
The laboratory, in Albuquerque, is an arm of both the new U.S. Space Force and the U.S. Air Force. Colonel Felt heads the “Space Vehicles Directorate” of the laboratory and made the comments in what was described as a “keynote speech” at a “ribbon-cutting ceremony” at it.
The $12.8 million facility “is dedicated to the research and development of space military technology,” notes Executivegov.com, a site which reports on U.S. government activities.
Felt’s statement about the laboratory developing “autonomy” in space warfare had a strong reaction among peace activists.
“The automation of war—surrendering human control to computers and Artificial Intelligence—is frightening and appears to hardly register a blip with our so-called elected officials who are consumed with begging for war-bucks while on their bended knees,” protested Bruce Gagnon, coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons & Nuclear Power in Space.
“The U.S. imperial war project, now marching headlong into the heavens, is on autopilot. The public knows virtually nothing about it as the corporate owned media shares little news with the taxpayers other than cheer-leading these dangerous and provocative developments,” he said.
Herbert Hoffman, past president of the Veterans for Peace chapter in Albuquerque, stated: “Essentially Felt is supporting abandoning responsibility for making war to a pile of electronic wires, relays, chips. He is advocating abandoning rationality, assessment of error, etc. to an unthinking, no feeling ‘black box.’”
Bob Anderson, a U.S. Air Force Vietnam War combat veteran, co-director of the Albuquerque group Stop The War Machine and a member of the board of the Global Network, emailed the city’s mayor, Tim Keller. “As our mayor, I am greatly concerned about your support for SWORD,” he wrote. He cited the “autonomy” statement and said: “A war in space would be as bad or worse than a nuclear war and it could be triggered by computers here at SWORD. Are you OK with this?”
Also, Anderson a retired professor of economics and politics, wrote: “Some people once thought that a nuclear war was winnable. They have been replaced now with people who think that a war in space is winnable.”
Drawing attention in recent times to a technological mistake that nearly resulted in nuclear war was the Danish documentary, “The Man Who Saved The World.”
As Wired magazine said about the film released in 2013: “A Soviet ballistics officer draws the right conclusion—that a satellite report indicating incoming U.S. nuclear missiles is, in fact, a false alarm—thereby averting a potential nuclear holocaust.” Sept. 26, 1983: The Man Who Saved the World by Doing … Nothing | WIRED
“Lt. Col. Stanislav Petrov was duty officer at Serpukhov-15, the secret bunker outside Moscow that monitored the Soviet Union’s early-warning satellite system, when the alarm bells went off shortly after midnight,” Wired related. “One of the satellites signaled Moscow that the United States had launched five ballistic missiles at Russia….Petrov could have been forgiven for believing the signal was accurate. The electronic maps flashing around him didn’t do anything to ease the stress of the moment. But Petrov smelled a rat. ‘I had a funny feeling in my gut’ that this was a false alarm. For one thing, the report indicated that only five missiles had been fired. Had the United States been launching an actual nuclear attack, he reasoned, ICBMs would be raining down on them….Petrov was initially praised for his cool head but later came under criticism…”
A subsequent investigation “found that the satellite in question had picked up the sun’s reflection off the cloud tops and somehow interpreted that as a missile launch.”
Petrov years later would receive honors in the West including the World Citizen Award “in recognition of the part he played in averting a catastrophe” and, posthumously, in 2018, the Future of Life Award. This, as noted the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, came while just “blocks away” at the UN “politicians’ were discussing North Korea’s nuclear arsenal yet “none mentioned the greater threat from the many thousands of nuclear weapons in the United States and Russian arsenals that have nearly been unleashed by mistake dozens of times in the past in a seemingly never-ending series of mishaps and understanding.”
The U.S. military “has three designations for nuclear accidents,” John R. Kotson, who “spent 35 years developing electronic systems for military ground, air and space programs,” wrote in an article last year.
“Broken Arrow…accidents involving nuclear weapons; Faded giant…accidents involving non-weapon reactors; and NUCFLASH…accidents that may lead to war.” One NUCFLASH, he said, “occurred when a bear climbed over a security fence” at a U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command base near Duluth “setting off ‘intruder alarms’ at other SAC bases. A wiring error at one base illuminated “Nuke Russia now.” Nuclear armed B52 bombers were on the runway awaiting take-off when the error was discovered.”
Kotson asserted: “We need verifiable nuclear treaties with our adversaries to avoid mistakes.”
Colonel Felt also said in his May 20th address at the opening of the SWORD laboratory: “One of the reasons we stood up the U.S. Space Force was to ensure our nation has the capabilities to deter any threats in space. Our job in the SWORD lab will be to continue to develop resilient and innovative technologies that will protect our nation and allies from threats by our adversaries.”
Also at the event and speaking was Brigadier General Heather L. Pringle, commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) of which the SWORD laboratory will be a part. AFRL is based at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.
“What happens next,” she said, “is we’ll have our AFRL researchers, students and industry working side by side thinking of new ways to benefit our space warfighters to get our most important technologies out the door to support them. I am very excited to be part of this SWORD lab.”
Meanwhile, the new U.S. Space Force is seeking more funds from Congress. Donald Trump said as he called in 2018 for it to be established: “When it comes to defending America it is not enough to merely have an American presence in space. We must have American dominance in space.”
President Joe Biden has not rolled back the formation of the U.S. Space Force. Also, in passing enabling legislation to create the Space Force in 2019, fellow Democrats in Congress largely voted with Republicans to establish in 2019 the sixth branch of the U.S. military. The Space Force is asking Congress for $17.4 billion as its 2022 budget. The $2 billion increase from this year is “for the domain that’s increasingly important to future conflicts and joint war fighting,” says C4isrmet, a website that describes itself as providing “Media for the Intelligence Age Military.”
Further, C4isrmet ran an article last week headlined: “Space Force seeks $832 million in classified spending, new missions and more in annual wish list.” This, it was explained, as it seeks to “develop a war fighting punch.”
The forming of the U.S. Space Force has come despite the Outer Space Treaty of 1967, formally titled “Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.” It was put together by the U.S., the United Kingdom and then Soviet Union, and as of this year has been signed on to by more than 100 nations.
It provides that: “The exploration and use of outer space shall be carried out for the benefit and in the interests of all countries and shall be the province of all mankind…Outer space is not subject to national appropriation by claim of sovereignty, by means of use or occupation, or by any other means…States shall not place nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destruction in orbit or on celestial bodies or station them in outer space in any other manner.”
There have been repeated efforts at the UN over the last several decades to expand the Outer Space Treaty with a “Prevention of An Arms Race in Outer Space” (PAROS) treaty that would not only prohibit the deployment of “weapons of mass destruction” in space but bar the placement of any weapons in space. Canada, China and Russia have led in advocating the PAROS treaty, but the U.S., through a series of U.S. administrations, has essentially vetoed passage of it at the UN.
“Despite the existence of the Outer Space Treaty that was created to ensure peaceful use of space, the United States has inserted the new U.S. Space Force which has one clear goal—control and domination of the heavens,” said Gagnon of the Maine-based Global Network. “A key solution to this growing peril of war in space is the creation of a new, expanded treaty, the PAROS treaty. But, sadly, the U.S. is heading in the opposite direction and now, with automation being added, an enormous new danger is being inserted into the challenge of keeping space for peace: automation of space warfare.”
As to the opening of the SWORD laboratory, “this illustrates for me,” said Gagnon, “how local communities, in need of economic development, come groveling to the Pentagon for any kind of weapons production no matter the ethical and real-world dangers these factories of destruction present.” Meanwhile, “The aerospace industry and its associated agents have become blinded by the quest for profit and power. The wake-up call is being sounded but those in power can’t hear.”

A new poll which included over 2,000 participants finds that a clear majority of Brits – 54 per cent – think COVID-19 was leaked from the Wuhan lab, with just 25 per cent saying they don’t believe that to be the case.
The survey, which was was conducted by JL, found that an additional 21 per cent say they don’t know where the virus originated.
The results of the poll contradict statements made recently by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who both said they doubted the lab leak theory.

As we previously highlighted, an even higher number of Americans – 58 per cent – also believe that the virus was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, with even 43% of Democrats sharing that view.
Almost a quarter of Americans also believe that the virus was deliberately created and leaked by the lab, not that it escaped accidentally.
For the best part of a year, the mainstream media, the Biden administration and social media networks dismissed the lab leak hypothesis as a “debunked conspiracy theory” and those who circulated it faced ostracization and deplatforming.
On Monday night, comedian John Stewart joked with Stephen Colbert that the lab leak theory was obviously true, which is somewhat of a shift given that the liberal elite framed the whole issue as a piece of Trumpian fake news for most of last year.
Despite the fact that investigations into the lab are ongoing, the former head of MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove warned that the Communist Chinese government has likely already destroyed the evidence.
“We don’t know that’s what’s happened, but a lot of data has probably been destroyed or made to disappear so it’s going to be difficult to prove definitely the case for a gain-of-function chimera being the cause of the pandemic,” Dearlove noted.
As we highlight in the video below, the doctor who was tasked with investigating the Wuhan lab by the WHO (he spent a mere 3 hours doing so) was also empowered by Facebook to censor information about the lab leak theory.
In an April 2020 email to Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Peter Daszak thanked Fauci for dismissing the entire issue as unscientific.
“I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” wrote Daszak.

assaulting teenagers in separate incidents for vaping near the beach, no
Maryland police officers currently face criminal charges or disciplinary
actions for tasing and beating multiple teens.
At 8:28 p.m. on June 12, several
Ocean City police officers confronted four teenagers for illegally vaping on
the boardwalk. According to the official
statement, the officers allowed the teens to walk away when 19-year-old
Brian Anderson allegedly started to vape again.
After Anderson reportedly refused
to show his identification to the officers, they tackled him to the ground and
began to assault him. In the bystander video, an
officer ordered Anderson to stop resisting.
“I’m not resisting,” Anderson
responded. “He just kneed me, bro.”
According to the video, a couple of
officers held Anderson down as a third cop repeatedly kicked Anderson in the
back with his knee. Anderson did not appear to be resisting as he remained
facedown with his hands behind his back.
Upset at the flagrant use of
excessive force against their friend, the three other teens began shouting
profanities at the officers and pushing their marked police bicycles. Although
the official statement neglected to mention that an officer fired a Taser at
one of the teens, the video clearly shows an Ocean City police officer tasing a
teenager for no justifiable reason.
Kamere Day, 19, was charged with
disorderly conduct, obstructing and hindering, failure to obey reasonable and
lawful order, resist/interfere with arrest, and assault second degree. John
Lewis, 18, has been charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey a
reasonable and lawful order, obstructing & hindering, assault second degree
and resist/interfere with arrest. Khalil Warren, 19, was charged with
trespassing-posted property, resist/interfere with arrest.
Anderson was charged with
disorderly conduct, resist/interfere with arrest, assault second degree, and
failure to provide proof of identity.
“The video from this weekend in
Ocean City is deeply disturbing. Vaping on the Boardwalk is not a criminal
offense,” Maryland House Speaker Adrienne Jones said in a recent statement.
“Black and brown children should not be tased while their hands are up.
Officers should not kneel on the back of a minor. Vaping should not yield a
hogtie.”
“We are aware of the social media
videos circulating regarding this incident,” the town wrote in its official
statement. “Our officers are permitted to use force, per their training, to
overcome exhibited resistance. All uses of force go through a detailed review
process. The uses of force from these arrests will go through a multi-level
examination by the Assistant Patrol Commander, the Division Commander and then
by the Office of Professional Standards.”
On June 6, Ocean City police
officers were recorded on cellphone
video in a separate incident firing a Taser at a different teen who also allegedly
violated the local ordinance prohibiting vaping near the beach. In that video,
Taizier Griffin, 18, stood with his hands in the air when several officers
ordered him to get on the ground.
According to witnesses at the
scene, one of the officers ordered Griffin to take off his backpack before the
video started. As Griffin clearly appeared to be taking off his backpack, an
officer abruptly fired his Tazer at the teen.
“It just happened so quick. He
reached for his book bag, the next thing I know he’s on the ground,” Griffin’s
brother, Tayvin Griffin, told NBC
News.
According to a statement
from the Ocean City Police Department, the teen “became disorderly and began
yelling at officers and threatening to kill them. At that time, officers drew
their Conducted Electrical Weapons (CEW). He continued to make threats on
officers, spit on them and resist arrest.”
But according to the video,
Griffin stood with his empty hands in the air and appeared to be complying with
the officers when they fired a Taser at him. Griffin was booked on
charges of assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Archaeologists in Poland have unearthed a coin hoard from the early Carolingian dynasty in a field in the remote north-east of the country. The coin hoard treasure indicates a connection between the ancient Viking trade center at Truso and the Carolingian dynasty to the south, but that might not be the whole story.
The silver coin hoard was discovered near the town of Biskupiec, and the rare coins were minted around 1,200 years ago. The size of the hoard of this type is unprecedented in Poland, and it is suspected they represent part of a historic king’s ransom paid to save Paris from a Viking invasion.
European History and the Unusual Polish Coin Hoard
The Carolingian dynasty , built by the Franks , a group of Germanic peoples, existed between 750 and 887 AD. Although not the first Carolingian, King Charlemagne, also known as “Charles the Great” took the dynasty to new heights of power, and the dynasty ruled over much of France, Germany, Switzerland and northern Italy in the eighth and ninth centuries.

Metal detectorists identified the first part of the 1,200-year-old coin hoard in November 2020 in a field near the town of Biskupiec, in northeast Poland . By March 2021, archaeologist Luke Szczepanski and his team from the nearby Ostróda Museum had unearthed a total of 118 coins from the secret location. Of the total, 117 coins were minted during the reign of the Carolingian emperor Louis the Pious , who ruled from 814 until 840 AD, and one coin was minted during the reign of his son Charles the Bald , who ruled until 877.

The Coin Hoard May Have Been A Ransom Payment to Vikings
Putting the rarity of the hoard in perspective, only three such coins with Latin inscriptions, and a central crucifix, had previously been found in Poland. Archaeologists think the coin hoard may have come from the Viking trading town of Truso, which was located about 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of the farmer’s field in which the coins were found. According to the Polish police , if the origin of the coins was indeed Truso it is possible that they were part of “an immense ransom of gold and silver paid by a Carolingian king to prevent invading Vikings from sacking the city of Paris.”
Professor Mateusz Bogucki, an archaeologist and coin expert at the University of Warsaw in Poland, recently told Live Science that it is possible the coins were part of the suggested “immense ransom of gold and silver” paid to the Vikings. However, whether or not this origin story is correct, “the distinctiveness” of the coins, says Bogucki, raises a set of interesting questions about their origins.

Another Theory Suggests A Pre-Polish Slavic-Viking Trade Route
What is perhaps most special about this hoard of 118 coins is that it was hidden, or lost, at a time when the first medieval Polish kingdoms hadn’t even developed. This links the coins with the Slavic tribes who ruled the region, and it is known they used mainly Arabian silver dirhams to pay for deliveries of slaves that they procured from the Muslim caliphate. For this reason, such coins are regarded as “extremely rare” in Poland, because they were discovered in northeastern Poland, so far beyond the Carolingian dynasty’s reach.
Professor Bogucki said that while it “seems likely” that the owner of the hoard of coins found near Biskupiec had obtained them in Truso, alternatively they might have been en route to Truso, to be used “for trading.” Szczepanski told Science in Poland that the region was probably an uninhabited wilderness at the time and archaeologists have not found any traces of a nearby settlement, hence they think the coins were being transported either to or from Biskupiec.
It might never be understood if the coins were “travelling” to or from Truso. But in the world we live in today, where tangible stories are much more “fund worthy” than actual facts, there is little doubt that the Polish museum cabinet will tell the tale that these three coins were “possibly” originally part of a ransom paid by the Carolingian King Charles the Bald to the Vikings threatening Paris, his capital city.

Who ever imagined a minority national party, beholden to voting patterns, would look for redemption by undermining enthusiasm for elections? Belittling the very notion of fair elections (past and future) exposes a politics of contempt. Since there’s no “surgical” way to do “voter suppression,”count on unintended, negative consequences, arguably demoralizing the Trump base. Partisan gerrymandering and manipulating judicial appointments are nasty enough; demolishing confidence that America can accurately tabulate votes quite another.
Thus, forget facile distortions that the right-wing cabal favors “party over patriotism.” That implies the GOP has gained power by ignoring its oath-based loyalty to the country. If so, where’s the offset, since the election, to grinding, Republican declines. Can a fragmented party, alight with displays of leadership animosity, be so deluded to think that restoration comes by only pillaging all things Democratic?
If anything, right-wing contradictions have amplified since the election – with the painful “choice” of not knowing whether they lose or gain more raw power by embracing Trump sedition. Yet, Trump aside, what real-world deliverables are Republicans even talking about? In the meantime, Republicans are stuck in their own political mud, hip to jowl with the two-time, ugly American vociferously questing against core Yankee principles and values.
How is it possible for the allegedly ultra-patriotic, law and order right, bristling with American exceptionalism, to forever tolerate unpatriotic criminal voter fraud (in GA), a trigger for riotous insurrection, tax fraud, and a sustained election-result denier? Consider this litany of anti-American violations:
1) maliciously, lawlessly rejecting a trouble-free national election with simple-minded lies because millions of voters favored the non-Trump.
2) refusing even a forced concession that a certified election is finale, objections out of order.
3) the outrage of Trump-driven insurrection against the Capitol, nothing less than a crime against the electorate and unimpeachable official mandates to accept certified elections.
4) a justified, double-impeachment whammy because that’s how the Constitution addresses a multiply-corrupt presidency.
5) demonizing the other party (before and after it won legitimately) as manipulative, nefarious, conspiracy-driven enemies of America.
6) slamming all critics, especially the media as “enemies of the people;”
7) punishing “disloyal” party dissenters by driving them from leadership, even office.
8) sabotaging the sovereignty of majority rule, pushing both election sabotage in GA “and voter suppression.
9) politicizing what had never before been so corrupted, from Supreme Court nominations to a global health pandemic, and essential foreign alliances all the while boosting a slew of unfriendly autocrats.
10) constantly leveraging overt racial bigotry as a divisive wedge; impugning minorities, immigrants and immigration as bad for American; promoting white supremacy, the Confederacy and egregious historic distortions.
If these are not blows against established, workable American values, what constitutes political treason? Name any other president, ex-president or national leader who ever so publicly torpedoed what the majority holds sacred. We’re not talking controversies, say, abortion, reparation for centuries of racism, preferential hiring, or how to exit bad wars. No president in memory promoted racism as a political agenda. No major party ever refused a peaceable transition after certified election results. No modern party tried to overthrow a legitimate election. America is not immune from hard-knock politics full of slander and intimidation, even direct Congressional fisticuffs. But what other president or party takes dead aim against democratic principles, open elections, and the sanctity of majority rule?
Sabotage is sabotage, whatever the con
Even before Trump, Republicans had degraded the “opposition party” role into blanket saboteurs against elected Democrats, as true with Biden as it was with Obama. Such treachery is not illegal but defies the American grain, with the dramatic, ongoing novelty of total election denial. That eliminates the all-important transition between nasty campaigning and a vestige of co-governance. If Trump succeeds in poisoning elections, he poisons voting itself, morphed into little more than a pause between endless, acerbic electioneering. Destroying the finale of outcomes corrupts politics into no-win, war-like battlegrounds. Nothing mocks majority rule more than willfully rejecting the only way democracies choose leaders and set agendas.
When has America ever backed a cult loser eager to devastate democratic stability for his long-shot fantasy of returning to glory? Never. The country can survive one crazed party that refuses to accept the role of opposition. But only chaos looms if one party, having failed to win, sustains the con by impugning the idea of elections. That defines anti-Americanism to a tee, in line with Russian interventions to devastate western democracies as failed systems – all to elevate foreign tyrannical brands.
Both the irony and tragedy is that widespread support of the wobbly Democratic Party matches high majority consensus of essential actions: to begin offsetting climate threats, upgrades to infrastructure, job training, and health care, plus much greater fairness in taxation and income equality. This national consensus looks to interconnected, systemic reforms, with secondary payoffs if immigration, gun gluts, and mass murders are addressed.
Is there any question that the right, to avoid a dead-end destiny, must abandon its mania for obstructionism and instead propose real-world improvements, if only for conservative and centrists? Lying bluster is simply not a sustainable political agenda. Loyalty to an ex-president who opposes American values and can’t win a national election will only confirm minority status for years.
Former GOP pollster Frank Luntz concludes that Trump’s maniacal obsession with losing the 2020 election “could cost the Republicans the majority in the House in 2022.” Trump’s utterly debunked voter fraud fantasies will hurt the Republican Party by discouraging 2022 GOP turnout. “The reason why there is a Democratic Senate in Washington today is because of Donald Trump, not Mitch McConnell,” says Luntz.
Since a reboot of current Republican mindsets is hard to imagine, who can argue with the Washington Post’s ex-Republican Max Boot, convinced that “The Republican Party is beyond salvation — even without Trump”? If the GOP cannot rid itself of the fascist, anti-American Trump manias, then, like the ex-president, it invites doom. Parties do go out of business when they crash and burn – and haven’t a clue, nor the courage, how to face the hard work of change. Calling on Trump is inviting the same-old insurrectionists to your backyard garden party.

Congress Passes Law To Recognize Juneteenth, The Day Republicans Freed All The Democrats’ Slaves
WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Senate has unanimously passed a resolution to recognize Juneteenth as a federal holiday, commemorating the glorious day Republicans freed the last of the Democrats’ slaves.

During this year’s Juneteenth, the nation will gather to celebrate the American political party that was founded on protecting human rights of people of all skin colors. Democrats around the country will write letters of apology and organize celebrations for the vast network of Christians, Catholics, Quakers, and Republicans who fought and died to end the scourge of slavery in America.
Congress has also approved the building of a giant elephant statue in D.C. to honor the party responsible for the freeing of slaves from Democrat plantations.
Biden has confirmed he will organize a celebration at the White House after he lays a wreath on the grave of his best friend Robert Byrd.
A new poll which included over 2,000 participants finds that a clear majority of Brits – 54 per cent – think COVID-19 was leaked from the Wuhan lab, with just 25 per cent saying they don’t believe that to be the case.
The survey, which was was conducted by JL, found that an additional 21 per cent say they don’t know where the virus originated.
The results of the poll contradict statements made recently by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who both said they doubted the lab leak theory.

As we previously highlighted, an even higher number of Americans – 58 per cent – also believe that the virus was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, with even 43% of Democrats sharing that view.
Almost a quarter of Americans also believe that the virus was deliberately created and leaked by the lab, not that it escaped accidentally.
For the best part of a year, the mainstream media, the Biden administration and social media networks dismissed the lab leak hypothesis as a “debunked conspiracy theory” and those who circulated it faced ostracization and deplatforming.
On Monday night, comedian John Stewart joked with Stephen Colbert that the lab leak theory was obviously true, which is somewhat of a shift given that the liberal elite framed the whole issue as a piece of Trumpian fake news for most of last year.
Despite the fact that investigations into the lab are ongoing, the former head of MI6 Sir Richard Dearlove warned that the Communist Chinese government has likely already destroyed the evidence.
“We don’t know that’s what’s happened, but a lot of data has probably been destroyed or made to disappear so it’s going to be difficult to prove definitely the case for a gain-of-function chimera being the cause of the pandemic,” Dearlove noted.
As we highlight in the video below, the doctor who was tasked with investigating the Wuhan lab by the WHO (he spent a mere 3 hours doing so) was also empowered by Facebook to censor information about the lab leak theory.
In an April 2020 email to Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Peter Daszak thanked Fauci for dismissing the entire issue as unscientific.
“I just wanted to say a personal thank you on behalf of our staff and collaborators, for publicly standing up and stating that the scientific evidence supports a natural origin for COVID-19 from a bat-to-human spillover, not a lab release from the Wuhan Institute of Virology,” wrote Daszak.
Right-wing radio host Eric Metaxas interviewed radical right-wing pastor Greg Locke on his program Tuesday, where the two agreed that God is allowing Joe Biden to be president to demonstrate to American Christians just how “satanically bad” things can get, which they believe will then lead to a massive spiritual revival in the United States.
“What is coming out of this is revival,” Metaxas said.
“I believe it’s coming through the back door of persecution,” Locke replied, saying that he recently spoke to a Christian from China who said that Chinese Christians are “praying for America to see persecution because that will bring the revival.”
“When this thing happened with the election and then everything that has happened subsequently, this nightmare,” Metaxas responded, “I think it is God’s mercy. It is a wake-up call, not just to the church, but to your average American to say, ‘Wow, look how bad it can get.’ We didn’t think it could get this bad. We think it’s just kind of going back to the way it was under George W. Bush or something. It is such a waking nightmare. That it is the one thing that I think God uses in history—we see it in scripture—to wake his people up.”
“Absolutely,” Locke said. “I think it’s been interesting that the last 15 or 16 months have really been a dress rehearsal because now they know who they can control and who’s going to be a problem moving forward. And guys like us, we’re just gonna be a problem moving forward, and I’m very bold about that.”
“I have not yet begun to be a problem,” Metaxas agreed. “If you don’t know what it is to suffer and to go in the wrong direction, you’re sleepwalking. And most Americans—we’ve been so blessed, we’ve been sleepwalking—we need to understand that it can get satanically bad.”
Metaxas, of course, has proudly been a problem for some time now. In the lead-up to the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection, Metaxas emceed a gathering of far-right fringe figures, including Oath Keepers’ founder Stewart Rhodes who called for “bloody war” if Trump failed to invoke Insurrection Act. Metaxas offered Rhodes a blessing as he finished his speech, adding, “This guy’s keepin’ it real, folks.”
(ProPublica) In 2007, Jeff Bezos, then a multibillionaire and now the world’s richest man, did not pay a penny in federal income taxes. He achieved the feat again in 2011. In 2018, Tesla founder Elon Musk, the second-richest person in the world, also paid no federal income taxes.
Michael Bloomberg managed to do the same in recent years. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn did it twice. George Soros paid no federal income tax three years in a row.
ProPublica has obtained a vast trove of Internal Revenue Service data on the tax returns of thousands of the nation’s wealthiest people, covering more than 15 years. The data provides an unprecedented look inside the financial lives of America’s titans, including Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch and Mark Zuckerberg. It shows not just their income and taxes, but also their investments, stock trades, gambling winnings and even the results of audits.
Taken together, it demolishes the cornerstone myth of the American tax system: that everyone pays their fair share and the richest Americans pay the most. The IRS records show that the wealthiest can — perfectly legally — pay income taxes that are only a tiny fraction of the hundreds of millions, if not billions, their fortunes grow each year.
Many Americans live paycheck to paycheck, amassing little wealth and paying the federal government a percentage of their income that rises if they earn more. In recent years, the median American household earned about $70,000 annually and paid 14% in federal taxes. The highest income tax rate, 37%, kicked in this year, for couples, on earnings above $628,300.
The confidential tax records obtained by ProPublica show that the ultrarich effectively sidestep this system.
