Have you ever wondered if the people in that bus are looking down into your car when your on that long road trip? Well, they are, and they might be cops.
Three North Texas police departments are working together in a very unique way to cut down on the number of accidents in their communities. Called the first ever Covert Joint Mobile Mission : Operation Safe Driver, and police are calling this a promising new tool.
According to one officer in the video, “Everyone drives safe when they see that black and white, it’s what they do when they don’t think they are being watched.”
Police are looking for violations such as drivers without seat belts, texting while driving, illegal lane changes, you know the worst of the worst.
Just remember next time you’re driving down the road, there always could be someone watching, probably the cops.
