One more Gazan killed in Israeli attack

Palestinian sources said the attack targeted a residential district in Gaza City on Saturday. The 42-year-old victim was identified as Ussama Ali.

Ten other Gazans were also injured in the attack.

Also on Saturday, a six-year-old Palestinian boy was killed and two others injured in an attack by an Israeli warplane near the southern city of Khan Yunis.

However, the military officials of the Tel Aviv regime denied responsibility for the airstrike.

An Israeli military spokesperson claimed that the attack on Khan Yunis “had nothing to do with any operation by the Israeli military.”

Meanwhile, the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas issued a statement after the drone attack on Saturday, saying the attacks by the “Zionist enemy are new crimes.”

“We will not stay silent in the face of the crimes,” the statement added.

Hamas also warned Tel Aviv that the resistance movement stands ready to destroy Israel’s “arrogance” and respond to its “aggression.”

Over a dozen Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza since June 18.

The Israeli regime conducts airstrikes and ground attacks against the besieged Palestinian territory on an almost regular basis.

On June 13, Israeli President Shimon Peres was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by US President Barack Obama.

The 88-year-old criminal, who has overseen the killing of women and children by Israeli forces in Palestine for decades, received the highest civilian honor in the United States.
