NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell says the opposition’s budget reply speech ignores the elephant in the room, and doesn’t guarantee protection for public sector jobs.
In his speech to parliament this morning, Opposition Leader John Robertson took aim at the state government’s plans to axe five thousand public sector jobs.
But Mr O’Farrell says the Labor leader’s failed to provide an alternative plan for the state to turn its finances around.
