According to IRIB World Service, the chairman of Expediency Council, in a meeting with the Secretary General of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ahmed Jibril, in Tehran on Wednesday afternoon, referred to homelessness of people of Palestine for more than sixty years, while adding that the international community highly respects the Palestinian people and combatants.
He named the people of Palestine as the heroes of history, while adding that the hardships of Palestinian people has led to their elevated status in the eyes of freedom-seekers across the world such that the revolutionary people and combatants across the globe learn lessons from the history of resistance of Palestinians against Zionists.
Ayatollah Rafsanjani also hoped the ultimate victory of Palestinian nation.
In further remarks, the chairman of the Expediency Council lamented the martyrdom of a number of Lebanese Hezbollah commanders in southern Syria by the Zionist regime forces.
