An officer attached to a New South Wales specialist command has been charged with interfering with results of a test after a routine random drug test last month.
Police say the 29-year-old Sergeant was asked to provide a urine sample and is alleged to have provided a sample from another person.
The officer then provided his own sample which is alleged to have tested positive to amphetamines and methamphetamines.
The 29-year-old is due to face Downing Centre Local Court on 22 July and is suspended on full pay pending the outcome of the case.
