Noel Edmonds’s wife has reported her ex-husband to the police after an argument in a country pub car park.
Liz Edmonds had arranged to meet her former spouse Nathan Ridler to pick up their two children after they had been staying with him.
But a furious row erupted which allegedly ended with Mr Ridler, a television cameraman, driving his vehicle away while Mrs Edmonds was holding on to the car.

Mrs Edmonds, 42, was not badly injured in the incident.

She telephoned the police to report the incident as soon as she arrived back at the home in Bitton, Bristol, that she shares with Deal Or No Deal presenter Edmonds, 63.
The row caused a scene outside the Compass Inn in the South Cotswolds village of Tormarton, Gloucestershire.
A family friend said: ‘Liz was standing between two open car doors trying to get the children out when Nathan started reversing.
‘Liz stumbled to keep up with the movement of the vehicle and the front door hit her and she yelled.’
The meeting between the former couple on Friday evening is understood to have been a regular event but on this occasion it developed into a row.
They had been due to meet at approximately 6pm, but Mr Ridler asked if they could delay for two hours because the two boys, aged ten and eight, were playing football.
Yesterday Mr Ridler refused to comment at his country home near Chippenham, Wiltshire, where a Mercedes 4×4 was parked outside.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police, which covers that area of Gloucestershire, confirmed that a ‘domestic incident’ had been reported to them but refused to say whether any arrests had been made.

Paul Monyard, the landlord of the Compass Inn, said he had been informed of an ‘incident’ but had not witnessed it himself.
Mr Monyard, 61, who was at the pub on the night in question, said: ‘I got a call from a woman at about 10.30pm on Friday saying there had been an incident in our car park.
‘She did not say what had happened – but asked whether we had any CCTV footage outside.
‘I told her we didn’t – we only had internal cameras. She said I might get a call from the police but I have heard nothing as yet.’ Edmonds and his wife, a make-up artist, began dating after she worked on a one-off revival of his 1970s children’s show Swap Shop in 2006, and they married in July 2009.
At the time they met, she and Mr Ridler were separated but not divorced.
Edmonds, who did not comment on the incident yesterday, has described his current wife as ‘the most beautiful woman in the world’ and his ‘soulmate’.
He has four children from his 18-year second marriage to Helen Soby: Charlotte, 26, Lorna, 24, Olivia, 21, and 13-year-old Alice.

Trouble is which ever parent has the children . They think they have sole rights over them . The other thinks they are hard done by .

noel edmonds is the closest thing we have to a true british icon… u seem to all forget what he has done for television and also charity .. i have met him on sevral occassions and he is a lovely man with a real heart of gold … you go Noel… deal or no deal… its deal all the way for me .

Has anyone else noticed Noel Edmonds has started dyeing his beard dark? It looks ridiculous on a 60-year-old and clashes with his platinum blonde highlights. As his wife is in the beauty industry, you’d think she would tell him!

WHY did she report this to the Police, if she was not hurt?
What a waste of Police time, waste of DM time printing this and a waste of OUR time thinking there was something interesting to read about!
