Nightclub and pub attacks in Perth

A man has been glassed during a brawl and four bouncers assaulted in a night of violence in Perth.

Police say an argument broke out between two groups of men at the Flawless Nightclub in Subiaco, in Perth’s north, around 11pm (WST) on Saturday.

A man was struck on the head with a glass or bottle, sparking a brawl between the groups, with a glass smashed against a wall showering onlookers.

Both groups were thrown out of the nightclub by security and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to minor cuts.

In a separate incident at the Sail and Anchor pub in Fremantle, in Perth’s south, four security guards were assaulted.

Police say a group of men were fighting in the pub when a bouncer approached them and was hit to the head with a glass or bottle.

A second bouncer tried to intervene but she was knocked to the ground, punched and kicked.

Two other bouncers were also assaulted as the group left the pub.

Police arrested several people over the incident but no charges have yet been laid.

Two bouncers were treated at Fremantle Hospital.
