LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nevada‘s average gas price is $3.97 after all of the state’s metro areas except Carson City saw prices climb in the past month.
AAA says Tuesday that prices are up 11 cents from the same time last year. Nevada’s numbers are slightly higher than the national average of $3.92.
Prices were highest in Sparks, where regular unleaded gas averages $4.05 per gallon. Elko’s gas is the cheapest, with an average of $3.84.
Gas in Las Vegas is $3.96 per gallon.
Casper, Wyo., sells the cheapest gas in the country at $3.45 per gallon. Wailuku, Hawaii’s is the nation’s most expensive at $4.85 per gallon.
