Netanyahu’s Victory: Now What President Obama?

By Alan Hart

That’s how Uriel Heilman concluded an article for the JTA (Jewish Telegraph Agency) on Netanyahu’s election victory after noting that he had shown his true colours by declaring that there would be no Palestinian state while he is in charge. What President Obama now has to decide is whether or not he will allow Netanyahu to remain in charge of American policy for Israel-Palestine.

If Netanyahu had not shown his true colours in the final hours before Israelis voted, Obama would have had some wriggle room. I mean that he could have gone on pretending that it was still worth putting effort into trying to get a peace process going with Netanyahu’s Israel. But Netanyahu’s outright rejection of a Palestinian state and his promise to go on building more and more illegal settlements leave Obama without any wriggle room.

It is clear and ought to be obvious to all that Obama now as only two options.

One is to wash his hands of the conflict in and over Palestine that became Israel and walk away from it. If he does this he will no doubt seek to cover up his complicity by default in Zionism’s crimes by saying, as he has said on several occasions during his presidency, that he can’t want peace more than the parties themselves.

Obama’s only other option is to say publicly to Israel that enough is enough and that America will now use its leverage to cause (or try to cause) Israel to end its defiance of international law.
I think Saeb Erekat, a member of the PLO’s Executive Committee and the Palestinian Authority’s chief negotiator, spoke the unvarnished truth when he said this:

The Israeli elections show the success of a campaign platform based on settlements, racism, apartheid and the denial of the fundamental human rights of the Palestinian people. Such a result would not have been possible had the international community held Israel to account for its systematic violations of international law

A first small step by Obama in the direction of publicly telling Israel that enough is enough would be a statement that on what is left of his time in the White House America will not veto UN Security Council resolutions which condemn Israel’s policies and actions and demand a halt to settlement activity and an end to occupation.

And hand-in-hand with that could be a statement that the Obama administration will not obstruct or seek in any way to influence investigation of Israel’s policies and actions by the International Criminal Court.
Mitchell Plitnick, Program Director of the Foundation for Middle East Peace and one of the still relatively few American and European Jews who promote the truth, wrote this in his first reaction to Netanyahu’s victory:

The only, very thin, hope is that the United States and Europe are finally so fed up with Netanyahu and the Israeli right’s adamant refusal of peace that they are finally willing to exert significant pressure. Although it seems likely that the U.S. and E.U. will do something, it is far less likely that they will do anywhere near enough for either the Israeli government to feel the pressure or for the Israeli populace to grow concerned enough to take action.

And Antony Lerman, a British Jewish writer I respect for his outspoken support of a one state solution (with equal rights for all) wrote this:

With Obama on his way out, the EU preoccupied with internal matters, Putin keeping the West busy with his aggressive pursuit of a Russia first foreign policy, ISIS taxing both the foreign and domestic security policies of so many diverse states, who will be able to stop Bibi continuing to consolidate and strengthen the de facto single (Zionist apartheid) state?

Whether we should be thankful for it or not, one thing we certainly get from this election result is clarity: the Palestinians will know what to expect, European Jews will know what to expect, the Obama administration will know what to expect, the entire population of Israel will know what to expect. Yet the consequences of the stasis this implies are far more unpredictable. Change was expected. Now there’ll be none, it’s as if a vacuum has suddenly appeared in the centre of the polity. And as the old cliché goes, “nature abhors a vacuum”. Filling it could be a third intifada, as Palestinian anger understandably erupts. It could be another major Israeli military assault, with huge casualties and the inevitable fallout in anti-Jewish hostility for Europe’s Jews. It could be a pre-emptive strike of some kind on Iran. It could be formal annexation of Area C of the West Bank. And it could be a major growth in the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement: more action and a widening of the basis of support for the campaign.

Equal rights for all seems to be further away than ever. But without a viable statist solution of any kind, the equal rights agenda as the basis for achieving real change gains added importance and legitimacy.

Unless Obama can summon up the will and the courage to publicly tell Israel that enough is enough and then back his words with actions, the answer to Lerman’s question is that nobody can stop Netanyahu advancing the doomsday clock.

My guess is that Obama will wash his hands of the conflict and walk away from it. In that event he’ll deserve a place in history as the American president who gave Zionism the green light to take the region and possibly the whole world to hell.

I hope, Mr. President, that I am wrong about you and your intentions.

  1. Does Satanyahoo’s victory mean izrahell has the same corrupt and fraudulent election system as America? I guess he can thank Diebold for his fourth term. Excuse me while I vomit. The rest of the planet must be looking at this farcical travesty as a continuance of more of the same, possible even worse.
Satanyahoo will now believe his god has given him divine power over the goyim.
I look for this psycho sofa salesman to do something really stupid, like start a war with Iran. In fact it wouldn’t surprise me one bit. He might even blow up a major U.S. city so he can blame it on Iran.
Maybe it’s time for America’s military to make a pre-emptive strike on its true enemy.
    The gods help us all!

    • I saw a comment that said it is a paper system. Doesn’t mean it can’t be corrupted but does seem to have the potential to be verifiable.

  2. Obama will say that the relations between USA and Israel are stronger than ever, that they are the best friends in the whole world, and that their relations is above politics.
Then he will continue to send financial aid and weapons so Israel can kill some more children without spending their own beloved money.
Meanwhile, countries that never harmed the USA in any way, nor posed a threat to anyone, like Venezuela, will be considered rogue states, and get no aid, only crippling sanctions.

    • “” Obama will say that the relations between USA and Israel ….. is above politics.””

Precisely . Blood is thicker than water . Close jewish tribal blood ties are stronger and more durable than watery emotions of humanitarian empathy//sympathy for distantly related others .

Talmudic zionist jews control the USA and much of the rest of the world .

Obama and many other powerful and influential americans have jewish lineage . Paternal jewish blood ties exist de facto regardless of official jewish nonrecognition of them . Some jew rabbis vouch for Obama’s jewish lineage .

  3. Well, I guess Bill Clinton has his answer – the superpower is Israel, not the US.

  4. Since Netanyahoo wants one state, not two now, does that mean full voting rights for all Palestinians in the “occupied” territory Israel ? Remember how “democratic” they claim to be.

  5. Building the Jew state of Israel should not be born by the US taxpayer…it is a violation of the First Amendment Establishment Clause which says; “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion”.

This support for Israel has went WAY beyond mere foreign aid and THE US GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BUSINESS OF BUILDING A LARGER JEWISH COUNTRY, making wars in other countries so the Jews HAVE TO flee to Israel. The purpose is rather transparent…Palestinian genocide and …growth for Israel at US taxpayer expense.

And notice what happens when CHRISTIANS are suddenly under Sharia Law? Every secular society our out of control government hes made “regime change” the fruits are Christians being targeted. That sounds like a Talmudic Jewish goal to me and Jerusalem will just be Christian tourist trap where Israel Jews put on a face of loving Christians for money. Their plan is a plan to rid the middle east of Christians and subjugate them in the USA. Israel is a threat to the USA and must be curtailed if we are to avoid WW3.

President Obama is now faced with doing what he promised to begin with…. or sell all of us, black and white America to lucifer for personal gain. What will it be Mr. President?

    • Toby
The US Canada, Australia, and most European countries now have the state religion of Holocaustianity. The US has established it with tens of millions of taxpayer dollars for dozens of Holocaust temples and shrines. Fortunately, you in the US still have a little religious freedom. Refusing to convert to Holocaustianity will only cost you your livelihood and reputation, whereas in Canada, Australia and other places, you can also end up in gaol.

  6. With all due deference, Obama cannot “wash his hands,” nor the US its hands; while continuing to arm and fund Israel. That would hand Israel’s leaders the keys to the White House, as well as to Congress.

    • Obama has probably already thought about handing over the keys .

Most of the goyim are a day late and a dollar short in this endgame zionist jew agenda .

  7. This practically guarantees a broader conflict in Ukr so the jews can have a new homeland. Sickening.

    • And of course these are settlement occupants, coming from Ukraine.

  8. Right again, Mr. Hart. Netanyahu’s win is a CLEAR signal that Israelis don’t really give a DAMN what America, or Obama, thinks. Their hubris is exceeded only by their contempt for us, Americans and Obama.

This does paint Obama into a corner. The easy way out would have been for Obama to say, “oh well, Netanyahu’s gone, let’s let bygones be bygones and move along….” Just like he did with regard to prosecuting any of the war crimes of the Bush Administration. Now he doesn’t have that option. Netanyahu, the man who publicly humiliated Obama, is still around and Obama is crying in the corner with a bloody nose. American and Israeli Jews are laughing even harder than ever.

Whatcha gonna do, Barry? Cry some more and hope the Jews feel SORRY for you?

    • In Netanyahoo’s eyes Dave, your every bit as black as Obama. So am I.

    • The kind of hubris that comes with the delusion they are god’s chosen people. The kind of hubris where they believe they are superior in every way to the rest of humanity. The kind of hubris that leads them to believe they can do whatever they wish to whomever they wish for their own selfish, evil goals. The kind of hubria that makes them commit the most evil atrocities and yet blame their victims. The kind of hubris that whenever they are caught committing acts of unspeakable violence to innocent men, women and children, they scream anti-semite to all who have the courage to speak out. The kind of hubris that allows them to lie, steal, murder, blackmail and extort and behave in what one can only describe as psychopathic and sociopathic with delusional disorders and mania that would ordinarily send one to a mental institution.
Izrahell has now flown over the cuckoo’s nest.
