FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “The hosting of the 16th NAM summit in Tehran, at the time when the region and the whole world are at a critical juncture, is a turning point in the Islamic Republic of Iran’s history; and Third World countries have pinned their hopes on the outcomes of this summit,” Ali Akbar Aghaie said on Thursday.
“The NAM member states will certainly discuss the campaign against racism, the aggression against and occupation of other countries, and the means to fight the Western bullying bids during the Tehran summit,” he added.
Aghaie stated that the NAM summit in Tehran will defuse the anti-Iran sanctions, stressing that the United States is concerned about the summit and would endeavor to downplay its outcomes.
“Tehran’s hosting of the Non-Aligned Movement summit will render null the arrogant powers’ propaganda campaign against Iran. It will prove that, contrary to the Western claims, not only is not Iran an isolated country, but also enjoys high diplomatic power that can deeply influence world developments,” the Iranian legislator pointed out.
The 16th summit of the NAM member states will be held between August 26 and August 31 in the Iranian capital.
Iran will assume the rotating presidency of the movement for three years during the Tehran summit.
