ABC – The government of Myanmar has been accused of conducting a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Rohingya Muslims just as the European Union has lifted most of its remaining sanctions. Human Rights Watch (HRW) says the government has been committing crimes against humanity that include murder, persecution and deportation. Barney Porter has more. BARNEY PORTER: The Human Rights report cites many examples of the violence. In the deadliest incident, it says up to 70 Rohingya, including 28 children, were killed in a village after police failed to protect them from a mob.
