A 48-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a body was found on the banks of a creek in northern Melbourne.
Police say a search and rescue crew found the body in Darebin Creek in Bundoora hours after a woman came forward with information on Friday morning.
The woman was questioned throughout Friday.
Huajiao Zhuang, of Reservoir, appeared in an out-of-sessions court hearing on the murder charge on Friday evening.
She was remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The identity and gender of the located body are not known.
