The former ABC personality Andy Muirhead will go before the Supreme Court in May on child pornography charges.
It is almost two years since Federal Police charged Muirhead with using a carriage service to access child pornography and to possessing child exploitation material.
The former host of local radio and The Collectors television program was charged after police seized computer equipment from his home in June 2010.
He has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
Preliminary proceedings in the Magistrate’s Court in August last year heard there were 39,000 deleted files on Muirhead’s computer but did not detail the nature of those files.
The 35 year old made a brief appearance in the Supreme Court in Hobart this morning.
He will face court again in May.
