A motorcyclist has died in a crash in the north Brisbane suburb of Deagon.
He was killed after his motorcycle and a car collided just after 7pm (AEST) on Saturday.
Police and bystanders tried to revive the man but he died at the scene.
His death is the first fatality on the state’s roads this Queen’s Birthday long weekend.
Traffic is being diverted and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the accident.
