Mike Stone – People are Blocking the Truth

Does Anyone Really Care About 9/11?

“Whether the topic is JFK, 9/11, the virus hoax, the recent Maui attacks – nobody wants to know what really happened. A typical response I hear is “Who cares? That has nothing to do with my life.” Events that people think have nothing to do with their lives actually have everything to do with their lives

The JFK assassination was before my time. However, ever since I read an interview with Mark Lane, when I was in my mid-20s, I’ve been fascinated with every aspect of it. That’s because I saw the assassination for what it was – a violent overthrow of the government. To me, that’s deadly serious.

Unfortunately, nobody my age ever seemed the least bit interested in it. Even guys that you would think would be interested – gun owners and self-described patriots – never wanted to discuss what happened that day. In the rare case when one of them did, I was always disappointed. One guy told me he’d studied the assassination for three years and wrote his college thesis on it.

“Seriously?” I said. “What did you find? Who killed JFK?”

He looked at me with a straight face. “Oswald.”

I remember a date I had during that time. She was telling me about all the actors she “admired,” a subject I found immensely boring. But when she mentioned Kevin Costner and Oliver Stone’s JFK, one of my favorite movies, I immediately perked up and launched into everything I knew at the time – how there were multiple shooters, how Oswald was a patsy, how the Warren Commission was nothing but lies.

I must have talked for ten minutes straight before I noticed her sitting across the table from me with a fluoride stare. Later she told me she had no interest whatsoever in the topic. “Don’t you want to know?” I said. “The government was overthrown.” Sadly, she didn’t care.

Her attitude is typical of almost everyone I met back then and of everyone I meet today. Whether the topic is JFK, 9/11, the virus hoax, the recent Maui attacks – nobody wants to know what really happened. A typical response I hear is “Who cares? That has nothing to do with my life.” Events that people think have nothing to do with their lives actually have everything to do with their lives.

I have friends who love to rant and rave about Democrats destroying the country, but if I bring up 9/11 or the virus hoax, which both happened under Republican presidents, they have nothing to say. Twenty years after the fact, none of them had even heard of Building 7, until I told them about it and saw their eyes glaze over. They’ve never heard of the dancing Israelis. They’ve never heard of the Israeli “art students” or seen that famous picture of the demon’s face appearing in the smoke of the burning towers.

Just this week I tried telling two friends about Israel’s involvement in 9/11. One of them reacted with hostile indignation and the other gave me a fluoride stare from across the table, just like my date from years ago.

They have no interest in learning the truth. All anyone wants to know is who I like in this Sunday’s games. (For the record, Pittsburgh +3, Las Vegas +3.5, and Green Bay +2)

Monday is the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. You’ll see plenty of fat, dumb Americans virtue signaling by pretending they really give a rip about the people who died back then and blabbering about “muh ‘Merica,” but none of them will have the courage or intelligence to look into what really happened on that fateful day twenty-two years ago.

If you’re a young person living at home, bring up the subject at your family dinner. Tell them you think 9/11 was an inside job. Watch what happens. Or if you really want to cause a ruckus, tell them you think Sandy Crook was fake. That’ll go over big.

It takes a special type of mindset to want to know what actually happened to JFK or on 9/11. Most people don’t have that mindset. Perhaps they’re afraid of being called a “conspiracy theorist.”

There’s also the fear of falling so deep into the rabbit hole that you never come back. When I first began researching the JFK assassination it quickly led me to the moon landing hoax, the RFK assassination, and to subjects as wild as aliens in the hollow earth and secret Nazi UFO bases in Antarctica. You really have to be able to sort fact from fiction when you go down that hole.

But even with all that, I’ve never understood why so few people want to know the truth about major events. Perhaps it comes down to being afraid of what they might find out. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover famously said, “The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil that has been introduced into our midst. It rejects even the assumption that human creatures could espouse a philosophy which must ultimately destroy all that is good and decent.”

At this late stage of the game, I’m pretty much through trying to talk sense to people. They either get it or they don’t. The perpetrators of the JFK assassination, 9/11, the virus hoax, and the attack on Maui will never see justice – in this life. I have no doubt they will suffer justice in the next.
