Two men have been charged after at least 17 cars were broken into in western Sydney in two hours.
Police said the two and an accomplice broke into at least 17 cars in Liverpool between 10pm Friday and midnight.
The men were arrested at Liverpool CBD by a police dog team shortly after midnight.
A bag alleged to contain items stolen from the vehicles was recovered.
A 23-year-old man from Busby was charged with 25 offences, including 16 counts of damaging and destroying property, and eight counts of larceny.
He was refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
A 19-year-old man from Green Valley was charged with 26 offences.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on August 9.
