Awake Goy Several fire trucks have been sent to the scene to deal with the fires. The area of the incident is located just south of the center of Brussels.
Images coming from Brussels showed thick smoke rising from blazing cars.
The fire has since been successfully put out.
Local authorities said that there was criminal intent behind the car fires, but added that a terrorist threat has been ruled out. Eight cars were affected and no injuries reported.
