ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts woman who says she was duped into posing her 10-year-old daughter nude over a webcam for a man she thought was a professional photographer has been jailed.
The 41-year-old Attleboro mother pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of misdemeanor assault and battery under a plea deal. The charge was reduced from felony indecent assault and battery. A charge of posing a child in the nude was dropped.
The Sun Chronicle (http://bit.ly/zE0sit) reports that the woman was sentenced to serve three months of a maximum 2 ½-year term.
The mother’s name wasn’t released to protect her daughter’s identity.
The woman says she was looking for modeling work when an Iowa man persuaded her to pose the girl naked.
That man is facing child exploitation charges.
