BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts residents are seeing more relief at the neighborhood gas station.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that self-serve, regular has dropped a nickel in the past week to an average of $3.56 per gallon.
It’s the seventh consecutive week of lower prices, which are now 33 cents below where they were at their peak on April 16.
The current price is two cents less than the national average and 30 cents below the cost at the same time a year ago.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.39 and as high as $3.79.
