Mashable Isn’t the Only 7-Year-Old Digital Expert [VIDEO]

Mashable turns seven years old today. In Internet time, that’s an eternity. In regular old human time, maybe not so much.

We’ve seen the company grow and change so much along with the digital landscape it covers. It got us thinking: How does a 7-year-old media company compare with actual 7-year-olds? After all, kids born in 2005 — the year Pete Cashmore started blogging about online innovation — are true digital natives. What do they have to say about the state of the Internet and the tech that permeates our lives?

To find out, we headed just north of New York City to the 92nd Street Y’s Camp Yomi. We found plenty of 2nd graders ready and willing to talk about Facebook’s valuation, LinkedIn tips and the fate of the BlackBerry.
