Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli occupation forces marked Woman Day by executing Palestinian woman at Al-Qattanin Gate of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Local sources said that the Palestinian woman Fadwa abu-Teir, 50, was walking towards Al-Aqsa Mosque through Al-Qattanin Gate, when the Israeli occupation forces shot and killed her.
“They called on her,” an eyewitness told Days of Palestine, “she did not reply, they shot her in the head and the chest.”
According to the eyewitness, the Israeli occupation forces prevented medical assistance to the woman, noting that they left her bleeding to death.
Israel media reported Israeli army spokesperson claiming that the woman had a knife and attempted to stab an Israeli soldier. Therefore, the Israeli soldiers shot her and foiled a “terror attack.”
Meanwhile, a number of Palestinian women, who were present during the incident, reiterated to Days of Palestine’s reporter that the woman did not hold anything.
“She only had a small woman handbag,” one of the women said. “The Israeli soldiers called at her, but she did not pay attention to their calls. Then, they shot her and killed her.”
This woman said that she wanted to help the dead woman when she was bleeding, but stressed that the Israeli occupation forces prevented her.
