Ever since Joseph’s rule in Egypt, nations have regularly renounced their debt and evicted Jewish money lenders in order to survive, Mark Twain wrote in 1898.
114 years later, Greece faces expulsion from the EU for failure to repay “odious debt” created out of thin air . Perhaps it’s time for the central bankers and their minions, to be expelled again instead.

Is it presumable that the eye of Egypt was upon Joseph the foreign Jew all this time? I think it likely. Was it friendly? We must doubt it. Was Joseph establishing a character for his race which would survive long in Egypt? and in time would his name come to be familiarly used to express that character – like Shylock’s? It is hardly to be doubted. Let us remember that this was centuries before the crucifixion…

Isn’t it an amazing confession? It was but another way of saying that in a population of 48,000,000, of whom only 500,000 were registered as Jews, eight-five per cent. of the brains and honesty of the whole was lodged in the Jews. You note the crucial point of the mentioned agitation; the argument is that the Christian cannot compete with the Jew, and that hence his very bread is in peril. To human beings this is a much more hate-inspiring thing than is any detail connected with religion. With most people, of a necessity, bread and meat take first rank, religion second. I am convinced that the persecution of the Jew is not due in any large degree to religious prejudice.
No, the Jew is a money-getter; and in getting his money he is a very serious obstruction to less capable neighbors who are on the same quest. I think that that is the trouble. In estimating worldly values the Jew is not shallow, but deep.

I would like to comment in regard to the article, “Mark Twain Identified Banker Vampires,” May 14, 2012, and to what Al Thompson (May 14, 2012) said: “Maybe a more accurate word for them would be Pharisees.”
I would like to advise Al Thompson [below] to read Benjamin H. Freedman. Here, is what Benjamin H. Freedman had to say about Pharisaism:
The eminent Rabbi Louis Finkelstein, the head of The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, often referred to as “The Vatican of Judaism”, in his Foreword to his First Edition of his world-famous classic “The Pharisees, The Sociological Background of Their Faith”, on page XXI states:

After looking into this rather late in my life, my understanding of this is that it isn’t that a Jew is better at business, he is better at eliminating any competition. If a Jew can manipulate the monetary system, and then enslave the people with usury, then to me it appears that Jews operate like communists. The main purpose of a communist is to eliminate competition. The terms are different depending upon the time in history, but the substance is the same; feudalism, fascism, communism, socialism, liberal, and progressive. I call them corporate socialists.
Usury is the most severe problem we have in any economy. It is an evil system that produces economic failure. So if the “Jews” were really Jews, then why is it that they use interest/usury? Why are so many “Jews” sympathetic to Nazi’s and communists when 6 million of their people were murdered by Hitler? I’ve actually asked this to people I know who are Jewish and they tell me to shut up. The “Jewishness” isn’t really much of an issue, it is the interest that is the problem. Let the Jews compete for their living just like everyone else without establishing an unfair advantage by controlling the money supply. Maybe a more accurate word for them would be Pharisees.

Their weakness is that they need the producers to support the suckers. Once the producers figure this out, and I think they are, that’s when the proverbial stuff will hit the fan.
