Police have found the body of a man who went missing off a pier south of Melbourne early on Thursday.
The man, aged in his 20s, was found dead on the foreshore at Frankston about 6am, police said.
He was with eight friends at the Frankston pier off the Nepean Highway when he jumped into the water wearing only tracksuit pants just before 1.30am (AEST).
His friends attempted to pull him from the water but lost sight of him.
Search and rescue, water police, local police units and the air wing were involved in the search for the man.
